This lovely stone cottage was originally a large and ancient stone barn at Sainham Farm. It is situated in the attractive courtyard and has marvellous open views from the rear across the fields to the downs. Stag Cottage is in one of the loveliest parts of the Island lying at the foot of Appuldurcombe Down and above the picturesque village of Godshill in ‘An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. Godshill can be reached by taking a pleasant stroll through the beech copse and across the fields. The village has a variety of tea shops and restaurants as well as two public houses.

This farmhouse is attractively situated on the edge of the pretty village of Shalfleet towards the West side of the Isle of Wight. The cottage adjoins the grounds of Shalfleet Manor House and has its own private entrance into a quiet lane which leads from the village to a footpath on Newtown Creek. This estuary, which is only a few minutes walk from the farmhouse, is part of a National Nature Reserve and is in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Several secluded bays and beaches are within 10 minutes drive.

The beach at Brighstone is within a pleasant 15 minute walk. This is also a wonderful walking and cycling area with easy access to the coastal path plus the beautiful downs which link Carisbrooke and The Needles on the western tip of the Isle of Wight.

Greenside is very pleasantly situated in a quiet, prestigious residential area of Cowes. There are open views from the rear of the house across the golf course. It is less than half a mile from the beach at Gurnard. The centre of Cowes is a 15-minute walk from the house.

This charming, Grade II listed cottage, is only a short drive from the sandy beach of Shanklin. It is peacefully situated in a quiet leafy hamlet in beautiful countryside, only 1.5 miles from the centre of the small seaside resort of Shanklin, on the east coast of the Isle of Wight. Shanklin has a lovely sandy beach which gently slopes into the water, a variety of restaurants, small shops and traditional seaside entertainments. The cottage has a lovely large sunny garden and is in a wonderful cycling and walking area. Footpaths and bridleways lead from close to the cottage to the coast at Shanklin and there is a particularly delightful walk across fields and downs to Ventnor offering panoramic views across Sandown Bay. The pretty village of Godshill is within a 5 minute drive and here there is good public house for meals, teashops and a hill top church.

The atmospheric village centre of Seaview, with its small shops, sailing club and restaurants is within a 7 minute stroll.

The neighbouring seaside towns of Sandown and Ventnor are within a 10 minute drive.

This is a wing of Clatterford House – a Grade II listed country house which dates back to 1756. It is within the hamlet of Clatterford and occupies a lovely position, on high ground, overlooking the beautiful valley of Bowcombe. A pretty stream runs through the lower parts of the valley and the nearby water meadows attract a variety of birds including herons and egrets. This is a wonderful walking and cycling area with country lanes and footpaths leading to the nearby medieval castle of Carisbrooke and to the downs which join the Tennyson Trail to form the most wonderful walk from Carisbrooke to the Needles on the western tip of the island. The property is also only 20 minutes drive from the sandy beaches on the east side of the island and the quiet coves to the south and west.. The dramatic presence of Carisbrooke Castle can be clearly seen from the garden of Clatterford House as it stands majestically on a hill to one side of Bowcombe valley. Whilst enjoying the feeling of being amidst beautiful countryside the house is only a 10 minute walk from the small shops, public houses and a restaurant in Carisbrooke. The centre of the larger market town of Newport can be reached within a 30 minute stroll. The central position of the Clatterford makes it ideal for touring the island with almost all areas being within a 20 minute drive.
Clatterford is a lovely house, with much old world charm. The East Wing provides very spacious, comfortable accommodation for seven/eight people in five bedrooms. It is centrally heated. On the ground floor there is a large sitting room, were visitors can relax, with comfortable sofas and has a big wide screen television with Freeview/DVD. There is an old pine fitted kitchen with an enormous Belfast sink, a range style gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and washing machine. An open doorway gives access to a separate dining area where meals can be enjoyed. Stairs lead up to five bedrooms - a spacious double room, three lovely single bedrooms – one of these is particularly attractive with a Victorian fire place and a charming window seat in a rectangular bay which extends over the lane. Another double bedroom is accessed via this single room and this has an en-suite shower room with a built in shower, basin and w.c. Upstairs there is also a family shower room with a built in shower, basin and w.c. A folding bed, travel/wooden cot and high chair can be provided if required. Central heating and electricity without extra charge. WiFi internet access can be provided.
The East Wing has a lovely private south facing terrace with garden furniture. There is also shared use of the beautiful and extensive gardens of the main house which are a wonderful mixture of lawned areas and shrubberies. There are open views from the garden across the water meadows to the downs and to Carisbrooke Castle. There is also a particularly attractive walled area with seating where visitors can relax and enjoy the views. Cars can be parked in the gravelled drive adjacent to the property. Bus service within 10 minutes walk. Nearby places to visit include Havenstreet Steam Railway, Robin Hill Adventure Park and Osborne House, the wonderful Island home of Queen Victoria.
East Wing Clatterford House is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided at a charge of £12.00 at East Wing Clatterford House. East Wing Clatterford House is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Friday to Friday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 16:00 and the normal departure time is 10:00.

The villages of Carisbrooke is located at the heart of the Isle of Wight and is best know for the remains of Carisbrooke Castle which sits on the hill above the village. A small shop and a post office can be found in the village as well as a couple of public houses. A footpath runs from just outside the village all the way to Alum Bay in the far West of the Island.
