Situated back on the mainland on the Dorset Coast, lies the pretty area of Purbeck, famous for its historic towns and villages such as Corfe Castle, Langton Matravers, Worth Matravers, Wareham, and Kingston, as well as the beautiful golden beaches of Swanage and Studland. Marking the start of the Jurassic Coast, there are also pretty bays to discover such as the beautiful Dancing Ledge and Chapmans Pool. For walkers and cyclists, the beautiful Purbeck Hills with its spectacular views are well worth exploring, as is the nature reserve above Studland.
