These include the island home of Queen Victoria - Osborne House, Quarr Abbey, Havenstreet Steam Railway, Butterfly World, a Lavender Farm and Robin Hill Country Park. The small floating bridge at Cowes offers easy access to the shops of West Cowes and to the countryside and idyllic coves on the west side of the island. The larger east coast sandy beaches of Ryde, Appley and St Helens are also nearby.
