This was a lovely well appointed property in a beautiful location overlooking the Isle of Wight countryside. It provided spacious accommodation for a three generation family holiday, and is within easy reach of attractions locally and along the east coast. I would recommend it to visitors of all ages.

The location of this cottage is perfect. The only downside is that you will struggle in the dining area if there are more than 3 or 4 of you.

Everything was perfect :) ! A lovely cottage,well-maintained and fully equipped , a little off the beaten track, and with wonderful views (Front and back, and, being horse-lovers, just heavenly :) ) 2 decent pubs within easy walking distance (15-20 mins) was a bonus.

Lovely rural location , central to the island. The drive to the location is in need of repair and unless you have a suv, would struggle to get through.

Nice little cottage . very warm and quite comfortable. access road could do with holes filling although this is mentioned in the property details it's worse than the description . some of the appliances had the wrong instructions and the cooker symbols not easy to read. George is great and will sort any issues straight away . dining area very tightRead more for 4 people so 6 must be near impossible . we'll worth what we paid to stay for the 2 weeks in February. The cottage was very welcoming on entering the property. It was clean and well equipped. We were very comfortable and had a wonderful time. A lovely peaceful location, being well of the beaten track. Great walking area, with plenty of rural walks within a short distance. Overall, a wonderful holiday in a nice cottage!

Comfortable accommodation and very good location with easy access to all areas of the island. Very quiet with lovely views however access to the cottage is along a very rough track which didn't do our car a lot of good. For this reason I would only recommend it to someone with a car with a lot of ground clearance.

Nicely appointed cottage, Too small for six adults but ideal for four or four plus two small children, (our party size.) Lovely location and cottage owner, (George Earle,) was a very welcoming and accommodating host who showed us around the grounds of his adjoining farmhouse and provided fresh home-grown veg, of which he was justifiably very proud.

We have just returned from a week's stay. The cottage is lovely and very well equipped - you have absolutely everything you need. It was spotlessly clean. The owners were very welcoming and they are available should you need them. The location is excellent and the views outstanding. We ate most meals in the garden. You do need to be aware that the Read moretrack to the cottage is unmade so if you have a very low car\ sports car this could be an issue for you. We would definitely stay here again. Hide
