Delightfully situated old coastguard cottage on the waterfront at Swanage Bay. Open sea views from the two double bedrooms and sitting room. Visitors can also relax in the front garden with the sea a short stone's throw away. This lovely old stone cottage has two double bedrooms, 1 bunk bedroom and a family shower room with built in shower, basin and w.c; comfortable sitting room with sofa, arm chairs and wall mounted flat screen television; fitted kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, refrigerator, freezer. Visitors also have access to an outside shower room with w.c and basin which is great when you come in from the beach. The sandy beach of Swanage bay is withing a 5 minute walk. The cottage is situated on a lovely small peninsular on the west side of the bay. Wonderful walking area with direct access to the coastal path.

This delightful stone cottage with the green front door is beautifully situated overlooking the large scenic mill pond in the pretty, old part of Swanage. The pond is home to ducks and moorhens and is beside the charming church of St Mary’s. This is a lovely peaceful setting with no passing traffic. The cottage is within a pleasant 5 minute stroll of the beautiful sandy beach of the small seaside resort.
Clematis Cottage is beautifully situated in the charming village of Worth Matravers amongst the lovely rolling Purbeck hills. This is a conservation village in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village is known for its stone cottages, pretty duck pond, tea shop and its traditional public house where local ciders can be enjoyed by open fires or whilst enjoying the wonderful sea views in summer. This is a wonderful walking area with a footpath leading directly from the cottage to the sea at Winspit and to the coastal path which can be walked eastward to Swanage and Studland or westward to the villages of Kimmeridge and Lulworth. This is part of the renowned Jurassic Coast. The small resort of Swanage is within a 5 minute drive and here there is a lovely sandy beach for swimming and facilities for boating and diving. The Swanage Steam Railway links with Corfe Castle – another pretty village within a 5 minute drive of the cottage.
This delightful Grade II listed cottage is in a small terrace of properties in a quiet lane near the village pond. Care has been taken to retain the original features of wooden beams, flagstone floors and pretty wooden windows. It has been furnished and equipped to provide very attractive accommodation for 5 people in 3 bedrooms with a maximum of 4 adults. There is a small terrace at the rear of the cottage and shared access with the adjoining cottage to a private raised area of garden with a lawn and garden furniture so that meals can be enjoyed the sunshine. Cars can be parked across the lane or by the village pond if space permits. Visitors are given a free permit for parking in the village car park – this is within a few minutes walk. Limited rural bus service available.

Worth Matravers is a pretty rural village within a short walk of the sea on the Southern side of Purbeck in Dorset. This charming and traditional village boasts a village duck pond, a historic church, attractive stone cottages and a renowned local public house (Square and Compass Public House) which has a calendar of traditional village activities including stone carving and pumpkin growing.
The coastline below Worth Matravers is well known for the dramatic landscape and abundance of wildlife. It is a popular spot with walkers who stop off while walking along the coastal path and some take the time to have a swim.
It's for anyone who likes to live life adventurously - you don’t have to be a seasoned explorer to enjoy a Go Ape experience! Go Ape offers up to three hours of tree top fun. The Isle of Purbeck is a peninsular of land located in the South of Dorset and is famous for its sandy beaches, beautiful countryside and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site. The sea surrounds Purbeck on three sides and nowhere is for from the coast. Apart from the small town of Swanage, the Isle of Purbeck is made up of small rural hamlets and traditional villages.
The North side of Purbeck is dominated by a wooded and heathland nature reserve and where it meets the water of Poole Harbour it attracts a great deal of bird life. The East coast of Purbeck is known for the two long sandy beaches at Studland and Swanage but also for the limestone pillars at Old Harry's Rocks. Along the South Coast is the start of the Jurassic Coast which is characterised by impressive coastal formations like Dancing Ledge and Durdle Door but also for quiet coves and peaceful beaches for swimming.
Much of Purbeck has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the vast majority of Purbeck remains in the hands of nature. This is ideal for walkers and cyclists who are free to explore large areas of countryside and take in a number of wondrous locations.
