Excellent cottage, with fantastic views and garden. We liked the spaciousness. Very convenient for touring the island. We enjoyed watching boats and ferries journeying to and fro. Enjoyed the bird life - especially the resident buzzard and green and greater spotted woodpeckers. Liked having pub serving good food so near! Cottage Rating: 5 Stars

A lovely cottage with a gorgeous garden. We spent three weeks there with six people. Space to spread out: teens on devices in dining room and upstairs seating area, while we watched telly. Kitchen big enough for all to move about. Fantastic area for walks. Glorious sea views! Cottage Rating: 5 Stars

South Isle of Wight Information

The South of the Isle of Wight is a wonderful mix of pretty beaches and dramatic coastal landscape. The sand and shingle beach at Ventnor is one of the more popular holiday locations but hidden gems such as Bonchurch and Steephill Cove are really worth a visit too.

The coastal path around the South Coast of the Isle of Wight is a particularly beautiful stretch to explore and passes a number of attractive sites which include Steephill Cove, Orchard Bay and St Catherine's Light House at Niton Undercliff. Some of this area has been prone to erosion so you must stick to the footpath and take heed of diversions.

Inland one finds a beautiful rural area with high downs from which panoramic views can be enjoyed. A Botanical garden at Ventnor takes advantage of a warm micro climate found in this part of the Island. View more South Isle of Wight Cottages
