This gorgeous Victorian villa on elevated ground is only a short walk away from Wheelers Bay. There are wonderful sea views from many rooms and the Mediterranean-style veranda is ideal for gazing out to sea.

This elegant Victorian villa stands on elevated ground within a one-minute walk of the sea at Wheelers Bay. There are stunning sea views from most of the rooms of the house and a five-minute walk along the promenade leads to the golden beach of the resort of Ventnor. Here, visitors can enjoy swimming, paddling and boating, as well as meals at the public house, wine bar and cafes on the sea front. Ventnor also boasts some excellent restaurants at the Royal Hotel and a Michelin star restaurant, The Hambrough. Seahaze Villa is within a stones throw of the coastal path and a pleasant stroll leads to the pretty coastal village of Bonchurch and onwards to Shanklin. Walks westwards take you through Ventnor to some picture-postcard coves and the Botanic Gardens.

Seahaze is a beautiful detached villa with accommodation on three floors. The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two kitchens, two sitting rooms, plus a veranda where visitors can relax. This makes the property ideal for two families sharing. The front door opens from the veranda on to the central floor of the house. Here, there is a fitted kitchen with an electric cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and washing machine; a pleasant breakfast area; a bathroom with a Victorian style roll top bath, built in shower, basin and WC; an open plan sitting room furnished in a country house style with comfortable sofas and chairs and a dining area. This room has a large flat screen television with DVD player and Hi Fi. It is a light room with open sea views and French doors opening on to the veranda.

Stairs lead up to two bedrooms with open sea views; one twin room and the master bedroom suite - a spacious room with a double bed, television and elegant sitting area with a sofa and attractive Victorian fire place. The third bedroom is on the ground floor of the property - a large bedroom with a double and a single bed; an en-suite bathroom with a Victorian style roll top bath, built in shower, basin and WC which can also be accessed via the hall; a second sitting room with a television, Victorian style fireplace and sofa; a fitted kitchen equipped with a second gas cooker and hob, refrigerator, sink and breakfast area. A freezer and washer dryer are also provided. French doors open from this kitchen on to a narrow courtyard with a garden table and chairs. A wooden cot and high chair can be provided in the master bedroom suite. Central heating and electricity are at no extra charge. We regret it is not possible to use the open fires. The cottage has a WiFi connection which can be made available and a telephone for incoming calls.

Seahaze Villa has a secluded walled garden at the front of the property with high hedges, two small areas of lawns and shrubberies. This is a wonderful place with a Mediterranean feel and meals can be enjoyed on the veranda whilst watching the sailing boats pass by. Cars can be parked in a quiet public car park less than a minutes walk from the property, which is time restricted. There is also restricted roadside parking nearby. The house is on a no-through lane with a footpath to the seafront only 200 yards away. General stores and a public house are within five minutes walk. Ventnor town centre is within a seven-minute walk, with regular bus service and a variety of shops, public houses and restaurants.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Please note there is a refundable £150 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.

Beautiful property, easy walking distance to town and beach, lovely views of the sea from property. But, not for anyone with mobility problems due to amount of steps/stairs inside and the general location outside.

A lovely cottage so close to the sea, wonderful views and near to Ventnor. Plenty to do for everyone from grandparents to our teenage daughters. We were blessed with wonderful weather and had a fantastic week.

We loved this house. It is in a great position and has sea views from the veranda. It is generously proportioned - there was plenty of space for four adults, two children and two dogs.

Beautiful house, clean and comfortable, beds very comfortable. Fantastic sea views, we loved sitting on the veranda as very relaxing looking out to sea. Great for family, bit challenging for elderly as on a hill, and steps to house. We were very happy with this holiday and lovely location. Strongly recommend.

Lovely cottage, very spacious and comfortable. Great views from the lounge and upper floor bedrooms but hedging in garden does need reducing in height as sitting on the terrace you had little view of the sea.

The sea haze villa was just beautiful, everything you needed was there. The house was spotless and customer service was excellent. We needed to call housekeeper regarding the heating system and we had someone out within the hour, problem solved. This was our second visit to Seahaze and, despite the efforts of the rain, we had another fabulous holiday. The house is in the best spot, a few minutes walk to both the sea front and the shops of Ventnor. The house itself is gorgeous. We'll be back!

We really liked the house, the view of the sea from the balcony was lovely.

The cottage is in a lovely position to access Ventnor & the coastal walks and had plenty of room for us all (7). Unfortunately the views from the balcony were limited as the hedge surrounding the property had grown so high.

A property with stunning views from most rooms to the sea. A very family orientated property with a small enclosed garden where a dog can be safe.
