Cosy country cottage a short walk from the pretty village of Godshill where you will find a fabulous collection of traditional tearooms and an interesting range of independent shops.

Located on a working farm in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this idyllic retreat is the perfect accommodation option for a family or small group of friends who want to enjoy the beautiful Isle of Wight countryside in comfort. Sleeping four people over two bedrooms and welcoming one furry friend, this cosy cottage has a whole host of wonderful walking and cycling routes available right from its front door. Alternatively, you can spend the day fishing the farm’s pond, or go for a walk with the resident llamas and alpacas.

Set in a charming complex of properties, you can’t help but feel right at home in this cottage. Step inside and you’ll find yourself in a welcoming open-plan living room/kitchen/diner. Cook up a feast in the well-equipped kitchen and eat with your loved ones in the dining area, or head outside and dine alfresco in the garden. After dinner, curl up in front of a movie in the living area. At the end of the day there are two cosy bedrooms to retire to upstairs. Both have wonderful views, so you can rest assured you’ll wake up to beautiful vistas.

The quintessential English village of Godshill (1 mile) was the site of the first Isle of Wight festival back in 1968. Take a stroll there and you’ll find plenty of tea rooms, restaurants and pubs. Further afield, head to Yaverland Beach (7 miles), which is said to be one of the best beaches on the island. It offers incredible views towards the white cliffs of Culver Down and when the tide is out there’s an enormous stretch of flat sand. It’s also a hot spot for jet-skiers, windsurfers and kite-surfers.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
