A charming Tudor style property nestled in a tranquil close, benefitting from great transport links being within a twenty minute drive of Fishbourne ferry terminal.

This bright and friendly Tudor-style property makes a wonderful holiday home for a larger family or a group of friends seeking a relaxing getaway on the eastern side of the Isle of Wight. The house is set in a peaceful seaside village and is perfect for exploring pristine coastlines and rolling countryside. With plenty of space for eight guests, this is a lovely base for a restful family holiday.

Entering from the large driveway, this beautifully furnished house features a fresh and welcoming lounge, decorated in warm neutral shades. This is a lovely space to unwind in at the end of a fantastic day, with plenty of seating, TV/DVD and a Hi-Fi. The stylish kitchen is fully equipped and a pleasure to cook in, with a handy breakfast bar perfect for grabbing a quick snack. Accessed via the lounge or the kitchen, the light-filled conservatory offers a pleasant garden view and is a wonderful space for sharing your favourite family meals. The four bedrooms are all on the first floor – a king-size room, a twin, a bunk bedroom for children under 12, and the master bedroom with a super king-size bed and en-suite bathroom. The pretty back garden – accessed via the conservatory – is enclosed and beautifully maintained, and backs onto a copse. The sunny patio area provides an idyllic spot for al fresco dining.

Offering extensive views over the Solent, the village of Seaview is a beautiful holiday retreat, close to the charming seaside town of Ryde (3.5 miles). Nearby beaches include Seagrove Bay (1.5 miles) and Priory Bay (1 mile), and you can enjoy coastal walks to St Helens (2 miles) and Bembridge (4 miles). Other local attractions include the Amazon World Zoo (9 miles), the popular seaport of Cowes (15.5 miles) and Queen Victoria's former residence, Osborne House (10 miles).

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Embark on scenic coastal walks from your holiday home. Stroll to St Helens, about 2 miles away, or Bembridge, 3.5 miles away. Go rock pooling on the beaches here and take in the panoramic views. The sheltered cove of Whitecliff Bay is also worth exploring. Browse in the shops in Bembridge and pause for something to eat while you are here. The seaside town of Ryde is about 2.5 miles in the other direction from your holiday home. There is plenty here to keep all members of your party busy, from shops, museums and galleries to the sandy beach, canoeing lake and 19th century pier. Children will also enjoy days out to well-known Isle of Wight family attractions, such as Blackgang Chine, 17 miles away, and the Needles, 24 miles away, with its chair lift above the rocks and coloured sands.

I felt completely at home the moment I walked through the door. In comparison to the dozens of properties I've rented over the years this has to be one of the very best. The furniture and layout has been thoroughly thought through to provide more than adequate comfort for all guests.
