Felt that the cottage needed a deep clean and some new bed linen. Lack of washing up liquid and shower gel. Bedroom was very dark as only a velux window in the roof which was covered by trees and not convenient to open. No welcome pack. The mugs were quite badly stained.

Response from holidaycottagRead morees.co.uk: Thank you for your review. We appreciate the feedback, action has been taken accordingly and we can confirm that the trees have been trimmed back.

A fabulous stay at Pebbles. Whist small it was nice and cosy and just right for the two of us and Brian our cocker Spaniel. Great location - all the beaches\ walks we visited seemed to be just 20 mins away. The dog loved exploring the large interesting garden and we enjoyed sitting out relaxing in the evening sun. We will certainly be returning forRead more another stay in the near future. Hide

Pebbles was smaller than we were expecting. The information sheet was very comprehensive and the enclosed garden was excellent for our dog.

Contrary to previous reviews, my wife and I were a little disappointed with Pebbles. Cottage is great location, with lovely secluded garden, but we found it a tad small, and dark inside, had to have bedroom light permanently on due to the overgrown trees covering the velux window, which, in turn, was horrendous when heavy raindrops from foliage staRead morerting hitting the glass, my wife resorted to sleeping on the sofa to avoid the erratic, very loud drum beats above the bed! A compact cottage for two, very dog friendly with good walks on your doorstep. Located in the Islands Centre great to reach all points in 10 miles or so and adjacent to cycle tracks if you bring your velocipede!!

Enjoyed our stay and our dog loved the large enclosed garden. Bed comfortable and everything provided was good. Cups were stained and needed a good clean. Driveway initially hard to find and exit onto busy road dangerous
