The property is set within the pretty Dorset village of Worth Matravers and is just a mile from the magnificent Jurassic Coast. Providing ample accommodation for up to ten guests, this spacious getaway has a light and attractive games room and an extensive garden for you to unwind in.

The property is dominated by a spacious, light and welcoming open-plan kitchen/diner which forms the heart of the house and makes a wonderful space for preparing and sharing your favourite meals. The kitchen is fully equipped and there are several seating areas including a dining table overlooking the garden. Exploring further, the delightful lounge is ideal for relaxing in front of the wood burner and watching a movie, and you will also find a fantastic games room with table tennis, a pool table, a Nintendo console, a TV and a drinks fridge. There are six light and comfortable bedrooms – a double and an en-suite twin room are on the lower ground floor; a double and a twin room on the first floor; and a beamed double room on the second floor. The final bedroom is reached via a lounge with a Juliet balcony offering impressive sea views. Heading outside, the large garden features an extensive lawn and a terrace split over two levels, as well as a trampoline, a BBQ, a stone fire pit and a choice of outdoor games including croquet.

From Worth Matravers – with its delightful tearooms, duck pond and 18th-century square and pub – you can easily reach charming coastal spots including Chapman’s Pool (1.5 miles), Dancing Ledge (4.5 miles) and St Aldhelm’s Head (2 miles). You can also explore the picturesque seaside town of Swanage (3.5 miles) or bask on the sandy beach at Studland (7 miles).

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We rented Seaforth to celebrate, as a family, my husbands 70th birthday....it was perfect. Our jaws dropped as we entered the house; everything was perfect. Plenty of space for 7 adults, 2 children, I dog. The games room kept us entertained in the evenings; the walls are probably still ringing with laughter. This is a brilliant property for large groups and especially with young kids. The location is perfect with pub, tea rooms, playground and lovely walks right on your doorstep.

Ten adults stayed for their annual weeks walking holiday. The layout of the house meant we didn't feel crowded or restricted. The open plan kitchen/dinning area suited our group and everyone enjoyed the games room. Highly recommend

The cottage was a joy to be in and all 6 adults were impressed with the whole set up, we wanted for nothing from the fully equipped kitchen and utility room down to the games room. The furnishings throughout were amazing, thank you to all concerned and the helpfulness of the housekeeper whilst we were there.
