Featuring an idyllic multi-level garden with a summer house and large terrace, this relaxing holiday home is ideal for families or a small group looking for a tranquil place to stay which is perfect for exploring the breathtaking Dorset countryside.

Stepping into this light and inviting property, you will find the pleasant and tastefully furnished lounge which is an ideal space to unwind in with plenty of seating so you can relax with a good book or watch TV in front of the traditional wood burner. There’s an attractive dining room with a large dining table which can be turned into a pool table after dinner. The stylishly designed kitchen is a pleasure to cook in and features an additional breakfast bar area. Going upstairs, there are four light, airy and restful bedrooms – one king-size room with an en-suite shower room, a double room, a twin, and a single room. Heading outside, the beautiful large garden features a terrace where you can enjoy table tennis, a BBQ or sunbathing, and there’s a charming summer house on the raised patio.

The pretty village of Studland is just half a mile away and is known for its lovely beach, beautiful nature reserve and ferry service which can take you to Brownsea Island and Poole. Nearby landmarks and attractions include Agglestone Rock (350 metres), Ballard Down (1.5 miles) and Old Harry Rocks (1 mile). The delightful Victorian town of Swanage (3.5 miles) has plenty of great places to eat and drink, as well as a beautiful beach, promenade and pier.

Excellent well-equipped, clean but not fussy house relatively near the beach and heathland. A short walk to the village shop, pub(Bankes Arms), restaurant (Pig on the Beach), Old Harry rocks are just over a mile away. Brilliant place for a relaxing summer holiday with our teenagers

Stunning cottage tucked away in a beautiful location. Well furnished comfortable house with the added bonus of comforts such as sonos speakers, pool table, bbq, and plenty of books. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back and recommend tk others.

A great family house to stay in.... great location. The garden is lovely, my grandsons love the summerhouse. We have stayed here maybe 3 times now, we love it, it really suits our needs.

We arrived at the tail end of Storm Eunice and a power cut but Jane was straight on the phone to us. Candles and torches were provided. Thankfully it was short lived. The rest of our week was an absolute delight. The house is superb - comfortable, clean, well equipped and homely. The kitchen is perfect for cooks with everything you could need. My cRead morehildren enjoyed baking. Location is ideal. We walked to the beach, Old Harry's Rock and Agglestone Rock straight from the house. Highly recommend. Hide

This is a comfortable, well located and well equipped house. It is nicely decorated and well maintained. We had a great week there over Christmas and the provision of a pool table and table tennis was a big bonus in a rather wet week. Wow - was our first reaction on arriving and walking into Heath Lodge. The house is wonderful, beautifully kept and the decor and furnishings were homely. All 6 of us were bowled over by the house and its facilities and would unhesitatingly recommend it to others. Everything that you could possibly want for a self catered holiday with children was provided, including books and dvds. The facilities and equipment were of high standard. The mattresses on the single beds were only really suitable for children and there was no surface in the large double room. We downloaded the cleaning instructions for the barbeRead moreque bought eco fuel, and lighters candles and food only to find that the previous residents had not cleaned it was late so had to cook indoors. Beautiful holiday home - and it really was a home. Clean, comfortable and spacious yet cosy. The location was perfect, close to lovely pubs and restaurants, and ideal for the beaches too. We had such a brilliant week and are desperate to go back as soon as we can!

Great holiday. House was clean, well equipped and smart. Location was lovely, could walk up on to the heath and down to the beach - only crossing one road!! Walked round to Swanage for fish and chips and caught the bus back. Corfe Castle and the steam train were another highlight. The best bit was the lovely beaches with equally lovely cafes / toilRead moreets nearby!!
