This limestone bungalow is set in in the quaint village of Worth Matravers and is a short walk from the village green and duck pond, which is regularly featured on postcards of the Isle of Purbeck. As well as a tearoom, the village has a well-known country pub with a museum showcasing locally found fossils and artefacts. You can walk to Chapman’s Pool (1.5 miles), a secluded cove with a few fishermen’s huts and an extraordinary quantity of fossils, or to Winspit (also 1.5 miles) an old quarry on the cliffs that makes for a great picnic spot. Swim at the rocky beach at Seacombe, a mile away on foot, or head to Swanage (4 miles) and discover a sandy beach, a heritage railway and a good choice of shops and restaurants.
Access to the property is along a sloping grassy pathway. The open-plan living and dining area includes comfortable seating set around a TV and an open fireplace, and a round dining table in the corner that seats six people. The kitchen has all you could require should you wish to self-cater and there are three bedrooms: two doubles (one with an en-suite bathroom) and one twin. A lovely family bathroom features a shower over the bath.
The secluded garden includes lawns, trees and shrubs as well as garden furniture.
