With delightful views out over the rooftops of Swanage, this second-floor apartment makes an excellent base for spending time in this fantastic coastal town. The property is just 0.5 miles from the coastline where you’ll find the beach and attractions including crazy golf, arcades and a pier. Wander up to Peveril Point where you can admire views as far as the Isle of Wight, or follow the South West Coast Path down to Durlston Castle (1 mile) and the Anvil Point Lighthouse (1.5 miles). Should you wish to jump in the car to explore a little further, the popular tourist destinations of Poole (19 miles), Dorchester (25.5 miles) and Weymouth (26.5 miles) are all less than an hour’s drive away. You could also view the countryside in an entirely different way with a s-mile ride on the historic Swanage Steam Railway – the station’s just a couple of streets from home (less than 0.5 miles).

A short flight of stairs leads up and into this handsome second-floor holiday home. A traditionally styled lounge/diner with rattan furniture offers a comfortable space for relaxing together. The room boasts a coal effect electric fire for staying cosy through colder months and a TV and DVD player. Next door, you’ll find a kitchen with farmhouse-style fixtures and fittings, a wonderful place to prepare meals whilst enjoying the beautiful views from the window. One of the apartment’s two comfortable bedrooms is made up as a double, with a warm and relaxing ambience. The second is a lovely, cheery twin bedroom, with zip-and-link beds which can be made up as a king-size on request. A tiled family bathroom completes the apartment’s offering.

While the accommodation doesn’t have its own outdoor space, you are less than half a mile from the beach and close to Townsend Nature Reserve (0.5 miles).

Property was clean and the views super! it was in the old part of town, pretty and quiet but close to shops pubs and most importantly the sea. Hpe to use it again.

Some of the facilities were a bit dated (tv was very small and cooker old fashioned) but otherwise very comfortable and lovely location plus there was a Spar shop directly below which was very handy.
