This property’s view over Swanage is hard to beat. It provides a spectacular backdrop for a memorable seaside holiday. Guests can enjoy all Swanage Bay has to offer right from the back door, and all of the town’s amenities are within easy reach. There is a pub just over half a mile from the property and the nearest shop is just over a mile too. Guests can also explore further afield - Kimmeridge is only 10 miles away, which is a great place to catch a bit of surf and has some of the best snorkelling and rock pooling. while the famous Durdle Door is only 20 miles distant. In between is a long stretch of the stunning Jurassic coastline - if, of course, guests can tear themselves away from Swanage Bay’s beautiful stretch of sandy beach.

Inside, the property is all on one level. The kitchen is small but perfectly formed with everything guests need to rustle up a meal whilst he dining room is spacious with a table to fit six. The living room is the property’s real wow factor as it leads out to the fabulous sun lounge which has huge windows to make the most of the view and doors leading out to the garden with its stunning panoramas beyond. The bedrooms are all comfortable and of a really good size - two are twin rooms with the final bedroom being a double. There's also a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC.

Outside, guests can enjoy those spectacular sea views in the property’s large garden. There's a patio area with a table and chairs for sociable meals outside when the weather allows and the garden is bordered with mature trees and shrubs.

I love this place. Its spacious with lots to do and the beach and good walking is near. The beds are comfy. Its a step back in time but with everything you need in the present day. We love it.

We stay at this property every year. Great location and accommodation. Old property in need of much work and maintenance but this probably not viable. It is of period construction and great charm. Have already booked for next year. Original Cottages and their predecessors staff always of great help if needed and have always given helpful and friendRead morely service. Hide

Absolutely fantastic holiday in my favourite type of house - looking straight out to sea, nicely nostalgic with lots of books and lots of games but with Wi-Fi and a good tele. I dont really want to tell anyone about how nice it is for fear of them booking it before I get the chance to!! We loved it!
