There is a king-size, with zip-and-link beds that can also be arranged as two singles, plus a cheerful bunk bedroom, with full-size singles. Stayed in Stoat cottage. We had a lovely stay, the host were very welcoming and helped out on our last minute requests. The location is wonderful. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We swapped to Stoats Cottage after our previously booked property had to cancel very last minute due to plumbing issues. It was the only available property left in a similar price bracket (reduced because so last minute; otherwise it would have been above our budget), so we were very lucky that it turned out to be nice! It's situated down a quiet lRead moreane, in a courtyard with other cottages and some outdoor seating - although it was a bit too hot and bright to use it while we were there - fields and woodland surrounding, and with camping and an indoor skate park onsite, too! The property was clean, nicely decorated with nods to the woodland animal theme but nothing too fussy. My daughter was very excited about the bunk beds and the selection of games, etc., in the 'snug' upstairs (which I expect we would have made more use of if our holiday had been colder/wetter - there were loads of DVDs, too). We appreciated having bread, milk, teabags, etc., waiting for us when we arrived, and the cupboards were pretty well-stocked - although perhaps not enough to justify having a dishwasher. There is currently no internet, but we had good mobile coverage, and the week of enforced no TV was rather nice (internet is coming)! Dogs have to be kept on a lead, but there are apparently plenty of good smells, especially in the grassy areas just beyond the courtyard cottages. My daughter enjoyed watching the skateboarders, as well as the farmer driving his tractor in the fields. It was easy to get to different parts of the island. The nearest supermarket was about a 15 minute drive away. Hide
