This light-filled first-floor apartment enjoys an elevated position over Swanage, offering lovely panoramic views of the Purbeck Hills, Swanage Bay and the Isle of Wight in the distance. You’ll be conveniently located just 500 metres from the bustling town centre, with its shops, high street and sandy beach all within 0.5 miles. With space for four guests over two bedrooms, the property is perfect for a family holiday or getaway among friends.

Inside, this cheerful holiday apartment has an uplifting decor with cream walls and seaside-themed details throughout. The cosy living area is wonderful for relaxing, with leather sofas, a TV and a dining table positioned at the bay window – great for absorbing those stunning hill and sea views while you eat breakfast. A well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for meal prep, while the bathroom includes a shower over the bath. There are two comfortable and beautifully presented bedrooms: one king-size room and another with adult-sized bunk beds. Outside, you’ll have parking for one in a reserved undercover space – please be aware there’s a steep walkway from the parking area to the main entrance. Additional roadside parking awaits, subject to availability.

Locally, wander into Swanage for a spot of lunch in a friendly cafe, then head to the beach for swimming, sunbathing and water sports. Nature lovers will enjoy taking scenic coastal walks along the limestone cliffs, with spots like Dancing Ledge (2 miles) and Chapman's Pool (5 miles) offering incredible views. Step back in time with a trip on the Swanage Steam Railway – joinable at the train station 500 metres away – perhaps alighting at Corfe (5.5 miles) where you can marvel at the iconic castle ruins. Nearby Studland (3.5 miles) is a haven of sandy beaches, dunes, and heathland, while golf enthusiasts can tee off at the picturesque local course (2.5 miles).

A comfortable apartment with good views, it's in a great location with a short walk into town. The parking is also very convenient.

Does exactly what it needs to do. Ideal size for a couple, great central location, and adequately equipped. If we come back to Swanage, this will be our first choice accommodation.

The flat had great views but the parking was difficult and as mentioned it was a really steep path from the covered parking to the flat. Great location though.

Skycove is located in a very good position which is ideal for the town, sea front and exploring Dorset. The designated car parking space is also a bonus. We enjoyed our stay and although the flat is reasonably comfortable it would benefit from work , in some areas, to modernise it.

We enjoyed our week at Skycove. It is well located and has all you need for a relaxing stay. You can walk down to the village easily and the walk back up is not too steep. There are very pleasant views of the mountains and a glimpse of sea. You can see the smoke of the steam train going through the trees which is fun. This flat is ideally situated only a short walk into Swanage town centre. It has great views towards the hills and you can see the sea from the property. It is comfortable and provides you with most of the amenities you would require. However it would have to be described as a basic, no frills accommodation which has a dated feel. The modern travelRead moreler would expect more modern, updated facilities and more attention to the design of the interior to enhance a stay.
