The charming old village of Shanklin is less than a 5 minute walk away. Also nearby is Shanklin Theatre and the shopping centre of the town.

Sandcastles has a lovely enclosed terrace accessed from the first floor living areas with garden furniture so that meals can be enjoyed in the sunshine. Visitors can park one car in a garage beneath the property and a second car directly behind it on the driveway. Electric vehicle charging is included. A train service links Shanklin, with Sandown, Brading and Ryde with interlinked boat services to the mainland at Portsmouth. The bus services from Shanklin is also very good making this an ideal location to come without a car.
