The quaint town of Freshwater is also nearby and this has a variety of small shops, public houses, a sports centre with swimming pool and a popular golf course. The attractive port and sailing centre of Yarmouth is within a ten minute drive. Here, there are some excellent restaurants, boutique style shops and boat trips along the river or to the mainland.
