Always just great. Any small issues which may crop up are easily dealt with by Emily (Housekeeper) or Sue (Owner). Would definitely recommend DC to anyone who likes to live in a well-appointed cottage and a lovely village.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Well-appointed. Had all we needed. Emily the housekeeper does her job well, keeping it clean and tidy. Put it this way we had 2 weeks in July 2025 and have booked again for November 2025.

We had an excellent holiday in your well appointed cottage, in addition to the good housekeeping by Emily. We only used the car once to obtain supplies from the local Coop - delicious frozen evening meals produced by Cooked Food.net. Over the two weeks we have walked the east coast from Ryde to Niton, using buses where necessary. However, be aware Read moreof the tides, as the coastal path has eroded in places and you need to be able to walk on the beach. We had a great time. Hide

A delightful, well equiped cottage within easy walking distance of the sea, with steps down onto the beach. Round the corner from the Crab and Lobster pub which serves excellent food.

Well appointed cosy cottage, off the beaten track. The walk into the village was difficult if you have restricted mobility, but if you like peace and quiet and a decent pub round the corner, then this will fit the bill nicely.

This was our first visit to Driftwood Cottage. What a lovely place and superb location! Just a stones throw from the beach with seasonal cafe, and a pub serving food, which we sadly didnt try. A pity about the bitingly cold wind, followed by rather grey and damp weather, but who cares when the cottage is so cosy, there are beautiful artworks to looRead morek at and a whole library of interesting books to explore! The slight hiccup charging our EV was quickly remedied by phone with the owners. Hide
