Everything was dirty on arrival and the cottage felt unwelcoming and unready for guests. Only saving grace was the amazing view from the bedroom window, otherwise not a good stay.

We had a lovely week staying at Hazelnut Cottage. The location was fantastic - it felt super peaceful with lots of footpaths leading off in all directions around the property. The cottage itself was well equipped, warm and cosy. There is a washing machine which helped with recovering after muddy walks with two kids and a dog! We loved staying in this cottage and found it completely charming. Although it is in need of a decorative refresh downstairs, we found it to be comfortable, cosy and extremely relaxing as a place to be. The level of equipment was good, the bathroom was lovely and a great size for a family. That view! I can't say more than it was simply beautiful. Hazelnut Cottage is in an ideal location to visit a wide variety of places in Dorset. It has wonderful views, is very well equipped and in a very quiet location. It has a garden with outdoor table and chairs so you can eat outside if the weather permits.

This cottage is probably best described as basic rather than luxurious but it has all you need and the situation is wonderful - off the main road so quiet and dark at night and with a magnificent view over the valley from Swanage to Corfe Castle. Lots of walking straight out of the door and we were blessed with perfect clear sunny weather.

A cute little cottage in beautiful spot, views for miles from the front, including Corfe Castle. Visiting at the end of Summer meant that the cottage was in need of some TLC, the walls are exceptionally thin between properties and you can hear everything that happens in the house next door, which is a shame as it partially ruined our time in the coRead morettage. The cottage itself is comfortable and has everything you need for a holiday, there is not a secure garden at the rear, as shared access. Hide
