Good situation within walking distance of village centre. Plenty of information about local walks and other activities. Dog friendly property with small enclosed garden - our dog loved sniffing in all the corners! Well equipped kitchen with a packet of my favourite biscuits!! TV seems to only have basic channels but not a problem for us. We stayeRead mored fairly local enjoying walking out from the village and a visit to the castle. However we did venture to Swanage, Shell Bay, Wareham, Studland and RSPB Arne. Also a day out at Kingston Lacy (National Trust) was not too far. Good places to eat in the village, particularly The Greyhound for Sunday lunch - portions are huge. Note that if you choose to bring your own towels you only need bath towels as hand towels, kitchen towels and a bath mat are provided. We had the bonus of perfect weather for the whole week Hide

The cottage was, as always , on our 3rd stay last week, very warm and comfy, wigh all we could need for the week, which was very sunny and warm almost all of the week. The double bed might need renewing soon, as it was a bit lumpy and bumpy, but as this was our 3rd visit to the Cottage, we must be getting used to it by now!!!. We could have used a 2Read morend black bin liner, as we had a lot of stuff to put in the bin, as our Collie, Bear, has to have a special diet, which involved a lot of cartons etc. Apart from that, we loved our 3rd stay in 3 years, and even sat on Swanage beach eating ice cream !, not too bad for the last week in March!!!. Thanks Honor for another great week at Cherry Blossom House, Barry,Pat, Taff and Bear x Hide

There are so many walks straight from the door, including a lovely one down to the village across the common which avoids the main road.
