Get away from it all at this light and bright holiday hideaway in the heart of Bembridge – just 11 miles outside Newport. Sleeping four people across two bedrooms, it’s ideal for families or groups of friends who are looking for a bright and breezy base to call home while they discover the Isle of Wight together. Wake up and set off for the 18th-century Bembridge Windmill to climb to the top and take in the sweeping views over the Solent. Afterwards, head off for a stroll along Bembridge Beach. In the evening, come home to share a fun BBQ feast with your loved ones in your cottage’s pretty garden.
Park in your private parking area (there’s room for 2 cars) and step inside this cheerful holiday home. You’ll be greeted by a light and bright open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with coastal-themed decor, bi-fold doors that lead to garden, and a striking wood burner at its heart. Head to the chic kitchen area to whip up some dinner and get everyone together to eat at the elegant dining table. Alternatively, head out into the garden, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco. Afterwards, treat yourself to a glass of wine by the crackling wood burner in the lounge area, or catch up on your favourite TV shows in the cosy snug. At the end of the day, you’ll find two lovely bedrooms upstairs – a king-size and a twin – along with a smart family bathroom with bath and shower. A handy ground-floor shower room completes the layout.
