Great location. So easy to get all round the island from the house. Really great welcome pack. House was clean and tidy. Bed linen was really good quality. Great stay on the island.

Great location for exploring the island. Comfortable and quiet location. Would suggest reversing into the driveway as it makes it easier when leaving. Welcome pack was very much appreciated. Doggy bowl and treats also a nice touch.

The schoolhouse overall is charming and reasonably well equipped but it really needs a thorough clean. The bedding was changed promptly when we complained and a lightbulb added to the shower room as requested. The light fitting has four bulbs with only one working in a room with no natural light. The driveway is very narrow to negotiate if you haveRead more a large vehicle. The village itself is a very friendly place. We love the Isle of Wight and all it has to offer. Hide

Delighted as soon as we walked through the door of this beautiful school conversion. Full of character and very comfortable. Slept well every night on soft yet supportive mattress. Everything we needed was there.

Owner was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The cottage had a quirky charm, but we didnt feel it offered good value for money. Cleaning standards could be improveddust in hidden spots, hair in the shower, and a possible leak in the back toilet. Beds were very comfy, but some broken items (chair, shower light, bedside lamp, wobbly toileRead moret seats, temperamental TV) let the property down. Kitchen was well equipped, and the location was great for exploring the island. Hide

Lovely converted (quaint and quirky) Old School House which is ideally situated for long walks with the dog and with the oldest pub on the island pub very close by. Very close to Niton, Ventnor and Godshill and only a bus ride or a short drive away from Newport.

Great location to explore the island. Some of the School House decor is looking a bit shabby and the drive is a tight squeeze for larger vehicles. Watch your heads on the beams.
