Lovely cottage. Everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the local area. Very comfortable accommodation with a pretty garden. Great for the steam train heritage railway to Swanage, close to the tranquil and beautiful RSPB Arne, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Kimmeridge. The location is ideal - a few minutes walk to the village centre but far enough to be very quiet and a couple of minutes walk from Corfe Common, which is lovely. There is a well-tended spacious garden. The house is also spacious, plenty of facilities, comfortable beds, and all you could wish for. There is a downstairs bathroom and a downstairs sRead moreingle bedroom which make it attractive for a less mobile person. But the very narrow stairs and in particular the array of steps at different levels at the top of the stairs are challenging, and I would recommend anyone with a mobility issue (whether due to physical problems, poor eyesight, dizziness etc) to take that into account and perhaps seek advice before committing to using the first floor. Lovely, very well appointed cottage in a quiet location. We particularly enjoyed the conviviality of the dining/kitchen area with its outlook over the garden and the cosiness of the sitting room. Great sourdough bread and other supplies to be found at the village Post Office shop.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage which was just big enough for us (4 adults plus toddler). There is only seating for 4 adults in the front room but this was fine for us. The kitchen was well stocked. Parking was exceptionally tight for 2 cars and could only be achieved bumper to bumper (literally!), but as it was out of season we managed to Read morepark one car opposite most days. The location is perfect, a few mins walk to the castle. Lovely enclosed garden. We would recommend. Hide

We loved our stay here! A great cottage in a great location. Perfect for walking and exploring the local area. The kids loved playing in the garden at the end of the day. I enjoyed reading on window seat! A first visit to Dorset for us but I'm sure we'll be back.

We loved the location of this cottage because it's so quiet but within such easy walking distance to the centre of Corfe. The garden too is a real asset if you have good enough weather to be able to use it.
