Escape with your loved ones at this light and bright apartment in the seaside town of Swanage. Sleeping four people across two bedrooms, it’s ideal for small families or groups looking for a characterful apartment to call home while they discover the Dorset coastline together. Head into Swanage to stroll along the beach and check out its lively cafes and restaurants. In the evening, come home to share a relaxing al fresco dinner in your apartment’s lush garden.

From your private parking spot, step inside this lovely two-storey apartment and you’ll find characterful interiors defined by striking sloping ceilings and beams. Head upstairs and slip onto a sofa under the vaulted ceilings in the bright and cheerful lounge. When it’s time to eat, make your way to the retro-style kitchen/diner on the ground floor to cook up a storm. Share an elegant meal in the dining area, or head out into the garden to enjoy an al fresco dinner in the paved seating area. Afterwards, head back upstairs to the lounge to catch up on your favourite TV shows. When it’s time for bed, you’ll find two stylish double bedrooms on this floor (one with a modern en-suite shower room). A stylish bathroom with a bath and a handheld shower on the same floor completes the layout.

Lace up your boots and head off on a coastal hike at Durlston Country Park (2.5 miles). Take in the panoramic sea views from Durlston Castle and keep your eyes peeled for kestrels. Head to one of Swanage’s adventure centres (1 mile) to try your hand at coasteering, kayaking or paddleboarding. Or head to Peveril Point Peveril Point (0.5 miles) to join the famous Jurassic Coast. There you can see Upper Jurassic to Lower Cretaceous rocks and take in the views of Old Harry’s Rocks.

A really comfortable property, great location and well equipped. Parking was a bonus as there was a bus stop nearby so we hardly used the car. About a 15 minute stroll into town, 5 minutes to the beach. Loved the art and ceramics on display. Highly recommended.

It was beautifully decorated and the beds and lounge furniture were very comfortable and it had everything we needed including the welcome goodies in the kitchen and bathroom. The owner herself was a lovely lady who came to sort the TV out and gave us very helpful local hints

Lovely property, clean and bright. Having the private outdoor 'wild' garden space to sit in the shade was a bonus.
