This charming, three-bedroom apartment sits on the second floor of a stylish block just 300 metres from a beautiful sandy beach. With space for four adults and two children, it’s ideal for a relaxing seaside escape for families or groups of up to six. Start the day with a chilly swim or a jog on the sand, then enjoy wandering around Swanage, with the town centre just 500 metres from the property.

You’ll access the property via a lift, then enter an airy open-plan living area incorporating a lounge, kitchen and diner. Stylish oak flooring and underfloor heating create a welcoming atmosphere, while plush sofas are on hand for relaxation. You’ll have a TV with DVD and a dining table for six. Cook up meals in the light-filled kitchen and when it’s time to retire for the night, head to one of three bedrooms, each with its own balcony. The king-size bedroom has an en-suite shower room, while the twin can be converted into a king-size on request. A third bedroom is perfect for kids, with a cosy bunk bed. Outside, take the steps up to a private rooftop terrace with decking – here you’ll have panoramic views of the Purbeck Hills and glimpses of the sea. Stroll to the beach for a picnic or browse Swanage’s eclectic mix of shops before popping in for lunch somewhere. For a historical afternoon out, head towards the dramatic ruins of Corfe Castle just 5.5 miles away. Outdoorsy types will love exploring the natural beauty of the Isle of Purbeck, with its dramatic coastline and idyllic countryside.

Lovely flat, good facilities. It does get hot when the sun is out, opening the balcony doors to let air through helped. Swanage a good place to stay

Beautiful and well equipped apartment in a brilliant location. Great views and very peaceful with easy parking but only a few minutes stroll from the gorgeous beach and the town of Swanage. Easy to get to Studland and Corfe by a very scenic back road. Highly recommended

This apartment was extremely good value for our weeks stay in April. It is in a fantastic location for walking into Swanage and great to have parking too (covered so your car doesnt get covered in gull mess). Well equipped inside and lovely having tea, coffee, biscuits and milk too. Far more kitchen equipment than a lot of places weve stayed atRead more, and loads of towels. The view from the rooftop is stunning - a great place for star gazing too. The only downside was that the apartment does get very hot when the suns out, but opening up the rooftop door and a balcony door does release the heat quickly when theres a breeze. We did have a light stop working during our stay, but this was fixed before we returned that day - excellent service from Original Cottages and the owner for sorting that so quickly. Would definitely recommend and use again if staying in the area. Hide

Very well equipped property in a great location. Does get very hot within the property and doors can be opened to let air in plus fans supplied for each room. Parking is a bonus but there is no direct access to the lift from the parking area - which is for 2 small cars parked one in front of the other - so access is round the corner via front door.Read more An excellent property for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. Lovely flat, clean and comfortable. Loved the roof terrace and balconies in each room. Quick walk to beach and close to town, location ideal. Unfu very hot in the bedrooms despite the fans provided.
