Cosy and comfortable with sloping ceilings and underfloor heating, this three-bedroom second floor apartment is a wonderful seaside retreat. Perfect for families with up to four adults and two children, it offers a sociable open-plan living space and a private rooftop terrace for al fresco drinks. A 500-metre walk along the seafront brings you to the town centre with its varied mix of shops, eateries and bars to explore. The sandy beach is just 300 metres away and it has lovely clear water, ideal for swimming. If you’re up for sightseeing, Corfe Castle is 5.5 miles away and here you can view the dramatic ruins standing on a hill overlooking the village.

A lift brings you up to the apartment on the top floor, and you enter into the airy lounge/kitchen/diner with oak flooring. It has two fabric sofas, a TV with DVD and a dining table with six chairs. The kitchen is a modern design and fully equipped with white goods and appliances for a comfortable stay. Each bedroom benefits from its own balcony. The master bedroom features a wooden king-size bed, free-standing mirror, chest of drawers and wardrobe. It also has an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has twin beds which can be put together to create a king-size bed (please confirm what option you would like while booking). There are also bedside tables, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe. The third bedroom has a bunk bed for two children. The main bathroom offers tiled walls, a shower over the bath and a WC.

The rooftop terrace is accessed via some steps and has decking with views of the Purbeck Hills, plus glimpses of the sea. There’s also a table and chairs to seat six.

A very comfortable apartment. Excellent , well equipped kitchen. Light, spacious and warm. The lift was so useful and there was good parking. We loved the walk into town along the beach.

We have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. Location allows for a pleasant walk into town and easy access to less busy beaches at this end of Swanage. Roof terrace with beautiful views is a bonus together with onsite parking. Apartment is well equipped and clean on arrival.

Property was good in all aspects apart from ventilation. On arrival, the inside of the property was very hot. Instructions suggested opening all the doors/windows to air the property. None of the bedrooms had opening windows which was a problem at night as rooms became very hot. Due to it being very windy we couldn't have the doors in the bedrooms Read moreopen at night. The weather wasn't exceptionally hot while we were there. If it was then I think sleeping in the property would have been difficult. This issue would prevent me booking this property again. Hide

Flat 9 Broadleys is a lovely property. Well equipped, clean and comfortable. The outside terraces are ideal for sitting on to relax, take in the views and enjoy the sunshine. An ideal location as very quiet but only a short walk to Swanage's beautiful beach and the town. Having an allocated parking space is also a bonus.

The information/photos gave the impression that the roof top terrace was private but flat 10 also has it's own terrace so if they're using it then it's not private. The plug in the main bathroom sink wasn't working. On our last day we looked behind the sofa to check our son hadn't dropped anything and found some pringles which hadn't been cleaned aRead morefter previous guests. The oven wasn't particularly clean and there were lots of baking trays which was great but they were quite dirty. It was nice having access to Netflix on the TV and the selection of games, books etc was nice. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The amount of kitchen equipment was very good.
