In the evening, come home and fire up the BBQ feast on your lodge’s deck, or head to the on-site bar/restaurant and let someone else do the cooking.
From your private parking spot, take a few steps up to your lodge’s spacious deck and step through the front door. Inside you’ll find a stylish open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area that’s bathed in natural light. Take a seat by the striking pebble-effect electric fire to make yourself at home before you head to the quaint kitchen area to whip up some dinner to share at the dining table. Alternatively, head out onto the deck, fire up the BBQ and share an al fresco dinner. Afterwards, treat yourself in front of your favourite TV show. At the end of the day, retreat to one of the three beautiful bedrooms – a double with an en-suite shower room and two lovely twin bedrooms. A smart shower room completes the layout. In the morning, take a dip in the on-site heated outdoor swimming pool (July -August) or the indoor pool (March – November). Let the kids let off some steam in the adventure playground, or head off to discover the on-site water sports that are available (April – October).
Set off to the Isle of Wight Shipwreck Centre (3.5 miles) to learn all about the island’s rich maritime history, or head to Ventnor (8 miles) to stop and smell the sub-tropical flowers at Ventnor Botanic Garden.
