Sleeping six guests, including two children, the two-bedroom retreat nestles in an enviable location, 1 mile from the centre of Ventnor and 300 metres from the beach. In addition to an exceptionally chic interior, it benefits from a private, south-facing garden where you can unwind, socialise and soak up the sunshine.

Head inside after a day out experiencing island life to feel calm and relaxation descend. Wander through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner to discover an airy ambience and steaming sunshine. Prepare everyone a hot or cold drink in the kitchen, then slide open the patio doors to bring in a sea breeze. Create tasty meals, gather round the table and sink back into the deep leather sofa in front of the Smart TV. As the evening draws to a close and you feel ready to rest your head on your pillow, amble through to your lovely bedrooms. One of these has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room. The other is a family room, with two children’s bunks and zip-and-link beds that can be arranged as a king-size or twin, depending on your preference at booking. There is also a family bathroom, where you have the choice of a bath or a shower. Spill out onto the patio on fine days for a cup of tea and to read a few pages of your book. Supervise children and pets on the steps that lead up to the lawned area. There is private parking for one car.
