There are also some fantastic botanical gardens to visit, and the unique landscape of The Undercliff which gives this area its own microclimate that is considerably warmer than anywhere else on the Isle of Wight. If you are keen walkers or cyclists, head out from the doorstep and enjoy the rolling countryside or the Isle of Wight Coastal Path. Beach days aren’t far either, with Shepherds Chine just 3 miles away or the stunning, sandy Compton Beach, 8 miles away.
