Experience country living at its finest at this lovely farmhouse annexe on a working farm outside Ryde. Sleeping four people across two bedrooms, it's ideal for small families or groups of friends who want to experience farm life while they explore the island. Spend a contented afternoon strolling along Ryde Beach, and in the evening, come home to your cottage’s courtyard garden to host a BBQ feast for your loved ones.

From your private parking spot, head to your exquisite farmhouse annexe. Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a bright open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with rustic wooden beams, smooth tiled floors and accent brick walls. Head to the country-style kitchen area and rustle up some dinner to share at the charming dining area. Or open up the French doors to the courtyard garden, step outside, and fire up a BBQ for an al fresco feast. After dinner, unwind by the electric wood burner-effect fire in the lounge area. At the end of the day, you have two bedrooms to choose from. The main bedroom is on the ground floor and has a striking king-size, four-poster bed and a stylish en-suite bathroom with a bath. There’s also a smart shower room on the same level. Upstairs, you’ll find a lovely double bedroom that flows into a mezzanine that’s furnished with an extra double bed and a futon. Please note that the mezzanine has low, sloping ceilings, making it particularly well-suited for children, although it can accommodate two adults if required.

Set off to Quarr Abbey (3 miles) for a little quiet reflection. This peaceful Benedictine monastery is surrounded by nature and is home to friendly resident pigs. Or head to Osborne House (6.5 miles), where lavish interiors and elegant gardens reveal the private world of Queen Victoria.

Spacious, well equipped, great location, owners on site (but wouldnt know they are there) handy for local knowledge, get for dogs enclosed own garden but you can go straight out onto open countryside walks (for miles). Great stay

A beautiful place to stay for a relaxing holiday. We went with 4 dogs. The garden is enclosed at the back so no escapees. The Annexe is perfectly equipped, very cosy and beautiful decorated and kept. There are lots of bridle ways and footpaths for great walks. The hosts, Phil and Caroline, are very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable aboutRead more the island. It is ideally situated for days out, Osborne House and the Tennyson Downs are well worth a visit. We will definitely be coming back, loved it! Hide

Lovely, cosy, holiday cottage with pretty enclosed private garden. We had everything we needed for a very enjoyable week away. The owners were close by, and extremely friendly and helpful. A real home from home!

Such an amazing cottage. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful and the location is perfect. The beds are extremely comfortable and the cottage is really well equipped.
