On the ground floor is a king-size bedroom, a zip-and-link super-king-size that can be made into a twin on request and a stylish shower room with WC. A narrow staircase leads to a mezzanine-style snug with a sofa bed and Smart TV, plus a contemporary family bathroom next door; due to the eaves, some areas upstairs have restricted head height. When the weather’s fine, open the doors from the living space to an enclosed private garden with a charcoal BBQ. You can store bikes and water sports equipment in the storage area at the side. Off-road parking is available for one large car or two small cars.
With the seafront, beach and coast path just 500 metres away, and Swanage Pier just 1 mile away, you can start the morning with sea views, walks, swimming or perhaps a boat trip. Nature lovers can explore Durlston Country Park and Durlston Castle (1.5 miles). History fans among you will surely make a beeline for Swanage station (0.5 miles), where you can hop on the steam train towards the iconic Corfe Castle (5 miles). For a peaceful wander beside striking waters, The Blue Pool (8.5 miles) makes a lovely day out.
