There’s a wealth of scenic walking and cycle trails around the coast and countryside, or you can see the sights from one of the many open-top buses that criss-cross the island. Visit historic Carisbrooke Castle (10.5 miles) where Charles I was imprisoned before his execution. Climb steep steps to the battlements for marvellous views and meet the resident donkeys to learn how water was once raised from the castle well. Robin Hill Country Park (8.5 miles) offers fun for all ages, with treetop walkways, a maze, crazy golf and more.
