Admire the surrounding views from this elevated spot or head out and enjoy outdoor activities such as water sports and coasteering.

Wind up the long, private driveway, to this unmissable home. Heading inside, you will find many period features such as beamed ceilings and exposed brick fireplaces. Just off the hallway is a superb study with curved windows that offer up panoramic views, an ideal spot to get on with some work or stuck into a good book. The lounge also boasts curved windows at one end that bathe the area with natural light, and the sumptuous sofas are set around the fire and Smart TV. Play games or eat delicious home-cooked meals in the dining area. Cook up a storm in the country-style kitchen, set beneath a beamed ceiling, which has a large island that doubles up as a breakfast bar. Above the garage is a family room with a double bed, a single bed, and an en-suite shower room. Take your meals and evening tipples outside and curl up on the patio furniture as you admire the sunset on the horizon.

If you can tear yourself away from the peaceful surroundings, visit Lulworth Cove Beach, accessed on foot or by car, 1 mile away. From here, you can head off along the South West Coast Path towards the famous Durdle Door (1.5 miles). At both these beaches, you can try out kayaking, paddle boarding, or simply just soak up the sun. A handy pub and shop are located just 300 metres away from the property.

This is a lovely house in a great location with lots of outdoor space and peace and quiet. There were 9 of us in our party (6 adults and 3 small children) and the indoor spaces were flexible and allowed grown ups to have a degree of seperation from the kids while still keeping an eye on them. We were there in the middle of winter and in an exceptiRead moreonally cold spell with temperatures around or below freezing most of the time and this meant we struggled to get the house warm, even with the log fire which was disappointing but as I say, the weather was surprisingly cold for the south coast and I think the central heating would cope well with most winter weather. We all had a lovely winter holiday at Brownhills, it was a nice touch to have some Christmas decorations and a tree as we were there for New Year, the kids especially didnt want to go home, Lulworth has got good amenities and it was great to be able to walk down to the beach and along the coast path and stroll to the Castle Inn which has a really good menu and friendly staff, we would happily and highly recommend it. The cottage is ideal for three families because of the annex and separate bedroom/shower in the roof. The rooms are large, so there's lots of space, and plenty of character. Great views, 10 minute walk to the Cove, 5 mins to the local shop which is very well stocked and bigger than you think with a good range of food and also sells papers, buckets Read more& spades etc. There are no footpaths in West Lulworth village so, as the roads are quite busy, it's safer to drive to the Castle pub (it has its own car park across the road). In the house there is no separate WC. It is well-equipped, EXCEPT there is no ice-cube tray in the freezer and, more importantly, no washing machine and no washing line if you want to wash by hand or hang up your beach towels and swimming gear. There is no brush or mop. A couple of parasols for the outside tables would have been useful and a few sun loungers would have been good. The garden and car park area were very overgrown. The steps to the annex are narrow and overgrown and the top step into the annex is wobbly. There are no instructions about where to leave the rubbish bins and what to do with the bed linen at the end of the stay. Hide

Spacious cottage but felt like a work in progress. Little thought for paying guests to enjoy all that was offered as was needing attention. I would now say overpriced for the niggly overlooked issues our party encountered. Others may find everything acceptable. However, the village facilities and proximity to Lulworth cove was good. Peaceful and rRead moreelaxing area. Hide

The cottage was beautiful, both outside and in. Located atop a hill, the views were stunning, and the house seen from West Road looks really inviting and pretty. Furniture was comfortable and well-maintained; beds were dressed nicely and mattresses were comfortable. There was plenty of room for our large group, even in the kitchen where everyone waRead mores able to get involved with cooking together along the breakfast bar. Overall, a really delightful stay! We loved our stay at this cottage. We had a little trouble getting in but that was quickly resolved. It was really comfortable and clean. Great garden and games indoors for the kids. Wonderful location as you can walk to Lulworth Cove
