A contemporary retreat for a romantic getaway in a beautiful spot in Dorset, very close to Swanage Bay. Set on the first floor of a period property, this quaint and welcoming apartment sleeps two and is perfectly located for a couple seeking exploration of this beautiful county’s coast and countryside.

Climb the stairs to the first floor via the communal entrance and head inside to this charming apartment. Leave your flip flops or walking boots in the hallway and head through to the superb, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Large windows flood the space with light and the neutral decor makes this a wonderfully comfortable and relaxing area of the apartment. To one side of the room is a compact kitchen, which has everything you need to rustle up delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which you can enjoy sitting around the dining table. Cosy up on the sofas and watch a film or catch up on your favourite shows on the Smart TV. When you are ready to get some shuteye, head through to the spacious double bedroom which has glimpses of sea view from the window. The refreshing family bathroom has a separate shower.

Set in the bustling centre of Swanage, you will find plenty of pubs and restaurants within just 500 metres, so you can enjoy romantic evening meals out. There is also an abundance of shops for you to peruse. The beachfront is around 100 metres away so you can soak up the sun in the beautiful Dorset microclimate. Take a trip on the heritage steam train to the historic Corfe Castle (5 miles) which sits atop a hill over the village. And enjoy long walks along the South West Coast Path (350 metres) or admire the undulating and diverse landscape of The National Trust’s Studland Bay (3 miles).

A fabulous apartment in a great location. Very well equipped. Perfect to walk down to the railway and bus station, 2 mins. Or straight out of the door for walks, down to the beach, through town, towards the quay and other walks. Great bus service, nice cafes, good food at 'the Ship'. Even the weather was kind to us. Perfect spot.
