Out back, the enclosed garden is a real treat, with a furnished patio area for sunny BBQs and a lawn for pets and playtime.

There’s so much to do nearby – Putlake Adventure Farm is under 0.5 miles away – ideal for visiting with younger children who’ll love the animals, play zones and soft play area. If it’s sand and sea you’re after, head to Swanage Beach (2 miles) or make the trip to the stunning National Trust-managed sands at Studland (5.5 miles).

Really nice cottage that is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Has the benefit of a quite large and secure garden at the rear that my dog appreciated. Number of walks nearby with a large field just behind the cottage which was ideal for my dog. Parking is on the road but I found I could park just outside or just a short distance up the rRead moreoad. Just a short drive into Swanage or back to Corfe. I did have an issue with theheating not working which wasn't a major issue as the weather was good. I have reported this separately as might have been a boiler issue. Overall this is somewhere I'd recommend and if I come back to Swanagethen I'd look to book this cottage again. Hide

Very comfortable and clean cottage with a lovely enclosed and private garden. Beautifully decorated, well equipped, ensuring a great stay. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Parking was on road but we were normally able to park right outside or very close. We loved this accommodation and will be back.

We had a boiler failure on the last night together with a very rapid flashing of the lights in the same room. at about 7.00 pm, just in time to report it. We were grateful to the gentleman who attended promptly and fixed both problems.

What a lovely cottage, being opposite the pub was a bonus! With the heatwave in full swing, the cottage remained cool day and night without the need for fans. Well equipped and spotlessly clean, milk in the fridge with tea and coffee available, was most welcome. We shall definitely book again.

Very comfortable and clean. Loved the location as the field behind the cottages was really excellent for my dog as it was safe and plenty of room to run. Recommend the pub opposite for good pub food and friendly.

A lovely cottage which is deceptively spacious. The location is perfect being just minutes from Swanage and Corfe Castle. The rear garden is tucked away and enclosed for any hounds that stay.
