Take a journey back in time aboard the Swanage Railway which operates steam and diesel passenger trains from the coast to Corfe Castle (5.5 miles), or visit Studland Bay (5.5 miles) with its stack of chalk known as ‘Old Harry’. Continue a mile further and you can take the ferry to Poole and Bournemouth, where there are plenty more family attractions.
