Set within the grounds of a Swanage farm on the outskirts of this popular seaside town, this property is a great choice for families looking for a peaceful getaway whilst still being within easy reach of the town and beach. The wide sandy bay is just 1 mile away with its shops, ice creams, and fish and chip shops. Visit the nearby nature lover’s paradise of Studland Bay 5.5 miles away or continue another mile where you can take the chain ferry across to the popular towns of Poole and Bournemouth with plenty of family attractions.

A spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area takes up the ground floor, with large comfortable sofas, arranged around a Smart TV. The kitchen has everything you might need for home cooking, and there is a dining table and chairs in front of bi-fold doors that lead out to the secluded garden. The master bedroom sits on the ground floor with a super-king-size zip-and-link bed that can be converted to a twin if needed, along with the family bathroom. Stairs lead up to the first floor where there are a further two bedrooms, one king-size and one with bunk beds suitable for children. Both have sloping ceilings and Velux windows, and there is a further shower room on this level too.

Outside is an enclosed garden with a patio and dining table and chairs, and a lawned area with sun loungers. A driveway leading to a car port offers parking space for two cars.

Really lovely comfortable and quiet cottage. There was a welcome food basket. Everything we needed to make our stay easy was there. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds. Space for clothes and bags, as well as a shoe rack and coat hooks. Sheltered outdoor space for those wet clothes days. [luckily we didn't need it]. Great having 2 bathrooms. Lots of bRead moreeautiful places within easy distance and didn't have to drive through Swanage to get to them. Bus 50 250 yrds along the lane takes you to Studland, ferry to Sandbanks, dropped off and ferry to Brownsea Island..brilliant. Also recommend the Pier Head [may be closed for Winter]. If I come this way again would look to return to stay. Hide

We thoroughly enjoyed our comfortable stay at The Barn, a home from home. Plenty of places to visit and Swanage seafront just 15 mins walk away.

Fantastic stay we really enjoyed ourselves. Lovely barn with everything we needed and fantastic quiet location but close enough to walk into town and beach easily! Thank you for the tip about the park the children loved it! The garden with the lights was beautiful on a summer evening! Definitely recommend the open top bus to Sandbanks etc!

An absolutely beautiful barn/grain store conversion. Very well appointed throughout. Our party was multi generational and the layout of a downstairs bedroom and bathroom with a further two bedrooms and a shower room upstairs was perfect. We are already planning a return visit

The location of this property is perfect for access to the coast, lots to do on your doorstep. Although the barn could do with a little tlc as feels a bit unloved in certain ways.

This property was ideal for us. It was well laid out, clean and comfortable. We were two couples and an 18 month old child. The bedroom for children upstairs is suitable for young children but probably not large teenagers. The location has easy access to town and studland. It is very quiet location. We can highly recommend

An excellent property well located and very well presented within a short walk from town. Covered parking . Welcome Pack was most appreciated. Small but well stocked garden was a pleasure to sit in.
