This quaint cottage is set in a terrace row a short walk to the beach and a stone’s throw from the mill pond in the centre of Swanage. Enjoy a walk to the Downs for stunning sea views across the bay or to the town’s fabulous sea front, sandy beaches and Victorian pier. Take a steam train to the dramatic fortification of Corfe Castle (7 miles) or Studland Bay (4 miles) to explore sheltered beaches, lowland heath and one of the iconic landmarks of the South Coast, Old Harry’s Rocks.
The cottage has been beautifully decorated with a host of contemporary touches alongside original features such as beamed ceilings and picture windows. Two of the bedrooms are on the first floor. One has a zip-and-link super-king-size bed that can be made into twin beds on request, as well as a window overlooking the mill pond. A king-size bedroom includes an en-suite shower room and has views to the rear of the property over the walled garden and to the distant sea beyond. The family bathroom has attractive tiles and a shower over the bath, and a double bedroom in the loft includes plenty of storage and lovely views of the quaint street below.
The patio courtyard garden includes a rockery and a table and chairs, and is a great spot for a morning coffee or a drink in the evening. The church is in close proximity and you will hear the church bells ring during your stay.
