This ground-floor apartment is located just a few hundred metres from the heart of Swanage. On Dorset's Isle of Purbeck, Swanage is a seaside town that is the perfect backdrop for a coastal getaway. Guests can go on long walks over the Jurassic coast which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site running from Dorset to Devon. Swanage town centre itself has an array of independent shops, restaurants and coffee shops. The sandy beach is a favourite in the summer months, with pretty coloured beach huts and ice cream parlours. You can also take in the beautiful scenery on a 6-mile train ride from the Swanage Railway or, in the summer months, head out from the pier on a coastal adventure on the paddle steamer – this can range from full-day cruises along the Jurassic Coast or a shorter trip to see iconic sights such as Old Harry Rocks.

This stylish ground-floor apartment has everything you could need for a seaside stay. The main living space is a delightful open-plan kitchen, dining and living room with lovely interiors and great attention to detail. The kitchen area is equipped with BOSCH appliances and a feature breakfast bar with bar stools and overhead lighting as well as a large dining table with two benches. Tranquil tones make the space a relaxing and inviting environment, with a Smart TV on the wall and comfortable sofa seating. The open-plan space means that guests can enjoy their own activities in each other’s company – whether that’s cooking, reading, playing a game or enjoying watching the world go by from the living room balcony, complete with seating. Large double doors from the living room flood the space with sunlight. Just across the hallway is the pretty, twin bedroom, tastefully decorated with framed posters on the walls. Next door to the twin bedroom, guests will find the family bathroom, with contemporary styling and feature, freestanding bath. The master king-size bedroom is also an inviting space and has the added benefit of double patio doors that open out to the veranda. From here, you can get glimpses of the sea. Adjoining the master room is an en-suite shower room.

The property’s has a small balcony , this extends the indoor space on warmer days. There are chairs on which you can have your morning coffee or afternoon tea.

Lovely apartment in a great location. Very well equipped with large comfortable rooms. Plenty of space for a family of four and two small dogs. Great to have a private parking space too! A very comfortable and well appointed apartment just a 5 minute walk from the centre of Swanage and the seafront. A brilliant base for the whole of the Purbeck area.

Just wanted to let you know the Shower would not drain away. so we stopped using it, equally the tap in the main bathroom was very dodgy, could come off in your hand. Finally I think the underground parking is only valid if you have a mini!, it was impossible to park in the space that is provided so we had to do street parking which was very hard sRead moreome days due to the double yellow lines everywhere. 2 The Lookout was modern, clean, comfortable and generously equipped with everything we could need for a lovely home from home. Swanage is a beautiful little town and there are some awesome places to visit. All in all an excellent holiday.
