This lovingly restored traditional cottage sits in a picturesque street just 200 metres from the town centre and sandy beaches of Swanage. There’s lots to explore nearby with the Swanage Steam Railway that takes you into Corfe Castle during the summer months a short 300-metre walk away, and popular family attractions such as Monkey World and The Tank Museum, both a 16-mile drive away. There is also easy access to the long coastal walks of the stunning Dorset coastline just 1.5 miles away.
Stepping inside this welcoming cottage, you’ll be greeted with a warm and cosy living space with a comfortable sofa, wood burner, traditional flagstone floors, and deep windowsills. A dining table sits at the end of the room where a door leads through into the long galley kitchen, with a Butler sink, and a compact island and stools perfect for an afternoon cup of tea or a simple supper for two. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, a twin at the front of the property, and a double bedroom to the rear, along with a modern family bathroom where you can enjoy a long soak in the bath after a day of adventure.
Outside, a door from the kitchen leads to a sunny courtyard garden with a seating area where you can dine alfresco on sunny days. The church is in close proximity and you will hear the church bells ring during your stay.
