Up to five guests and one canine companion can stay in this spacious and cheerful property in the Dorset National Landscape. Just 400 metres from the heart of Swanage with restaurants, a beach and the promenade nearby, you’ll have plenty to do during your holiday. Beyond here you’ll find historical attractions, Old Harry Rocks and long, scenic walking trails. In the evenings you can dine alfresco in the garden and spend quality time with your loved ones in the open-plan living space with a warming wood burner.

Step inside to find a homely, open-plan lounge/diner with wooden flooring, a beamed ceiling and tones of blue throughout. The split-level design divides the space with a wooden dining table in front of a blue feature wall and a cosy lounge. Here you’ll find two sofas and an armchair surrounding an exposed brick fireplace with a wood burner. Continue into the well-sized, neutral-toned kitchen with wooden cabinets and grey countertops. Climb the stairs to reach a king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a double room and a single bedroom. Completing the interior is a family shower room. Outside you’ll find a courtyard garden with a raised decking area, furniture and bike storage space. Parking is on-street, subject to availability.

While staying in the centre of Swanage, wander around the town to find an array of restaurants, shops and cafes (within 0.5 miles). Head to the waterfront and follow the South West Coast Path to the Victorian pier and continue to discover scenic views from Peveril Point (1 mile). Take Fido for a run around Durlston Country Park (0.5 miles) or spot the wildlife in Studland and Godlingston Heath National Nature Reserve (5.5 miles). Follow the footpaths along Old Harry Rocks (4.5 miles) and step back in time at the 1000-year-old Corfe Castle (6 miles).

A lovely house, excellent location and great back garden which our Dachshund loved. Great welcome pack with enough supplies to see us thru b4 a shopping trip. The instructions and notes around the property were helpful (coffee machine and showers etc). Cant wait to book again

Great location and ample on street parking! The cottage is spacious with a large kitchen, separate dining table and sunny outside space. Very quiet area and only 5 to 10 minutes into town and the beach.

The cottage was ideally located close to town and the beach. It had free parking on the street and we were able to park quite close to the house. The cottage had enough space for five us; two adults and three children. The kitchen was well equipped with most electrical appliances you would need, they also supplied tea towels, washing up liquid and Read morea few tablets for the dishwasher, there is also a washing machine. There were two bathrooms upstairs. The beds were comfortable to sleep in. We were left instructions for the house and equipment and other local information including walks, etc. overall it is a lovely cottage in a good location close to Swanage. Hide

The welcome pack was very appreciated! What a lovely touch. Provided towels and bed linen were 4* hotel standard. This property is well located just a 5 minute walk to central Swanage. There's a pub and a Spar shop very close by. Well equipped spacious kitchen with dishwasher , washing machine - even a coffee machine! The lounge diner is veryRead more comfortable with lovely sofas. We found the cottage generally clean and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen. It's location is excellent, within walking distance of local amenities. Although there were vehicles parked outside the property, we managed to park our car near to the house during our stay.

Comfortable cottage in a good location, near the town and beach but just far enough away. Most impressed with Swanage, lots of pubs (Black Swans food was excellent and well priced) Restaurants, lovely walks all round, a good selection of shops, a beach perfect for kids (shallow) and lots of kids entertainment.

The cottage was ideally located to walk in to Swanage. It was comfortable and had everything that was needed.The Black Swan pub at the end of the road served great food but there was no room just to have a drink

Absolutely loved the location of the cottage. Only 5 minute walk into Swanage! Swanage pubs,cafes and some shops all except dogs , which was a plus for my family as we have a dog. Cottage was very clean. There was a bottle of wine , milk and other goodies to welcome us. Lovely touch. Thank you. Wasn't noisy at nighttime. Would definitely stay heRead morere again. Been coming to Swanage for 20 years . Love the area!! Hide
