Packed with original period features including flag-stone flooring and a large inglenook fireplace with a wood burner, this seaside retreat is ideal for small groups wanting an idyllic getaway but with easy access to local attractions. The high street is less than 200 metres from the front door and there you have plenty of eateries on offer including sea-view restaurants and bistros, plus quaint coffee shops and tearooms. The promenade along the beachfront is just over a mile away there you have amusements available plus a sandy stretch to walk along, and clear water to dip your feet in. It’s also popular with swimmers when the weather permits.

The first room is the spacious yet cosy lounge with a large , low leather corner sofa, warming wood burner and Smart TV. The next room is the country-style kitchen with a breakfast table and chairs, wooden worktops and a door leading out to the garden. The bathroom has half-panelled walls and a bath with a hand-held shower attachment, plus a WC. Steep, narrow and winding wooden stairs from the lounge lead up to the first floor where there are two bedrooms. The master bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed, bedside tables and lamps, plus a chest of drawers and hanging space. The second bedroom has a single bed and a bedside table.

The courtyard garden is enclosed by an original stone wall and offers garden furniture for al fresco dining.

The cottage is adorable.but listen to advice on mobility issues as the stairs are difficultbut add to the character. But a great location and the log burner was such a lovely comfort.

Lovely cottage, a short distance from the local beach and the high street. Cottage was well presented and clean, with comfortable beds and sofa.

Lovely cottage- good location 20 minute walk to beach (25 minutes back!). Comfy beds. Good lounge. Kitchen not best equipped (5 saucepan lids-2 saucepans, no wine glasses, dishwasher does not work). Good parking.

As a whole the property needs new everything, Sofa is very warn and uncomfortable, splits apart to reveal a mousetrap. Dishwasher doesnt really work, new pots and pans needed as they seem to burn and set off the smoke alarm. Location is superb but for the money expected a little more of a finishing touch, higher quality.

A cozy little cottage which we have visited before and found it an ideal position to get around. The bed was very squeaky and needs improving on to ensure a restful night . The sofa is very low and not ideal for the older generation, but this said we had a lovely stay.
