This cosy wood and stone property with a classic cottage feel is perfect for a wholesome coastal break with up to two other guests and two canine companions. Climb the cottage-style staircase to reach a king-size bedroom and a single bedroom. Completing the interior is a family bathroom. Outside you’ll find an enclosed courtyard garden with furniture, as well as private parking for one car.

During your stay on the outskirts of Swanage, head into the centre of the town to find a host of restaurants and boutique shops along the high street and waterfront (1 mile). The cottage was cosy and quiet. About 25 minutes walk from the town centre but handy to have a space to park outside. The kitchen was suitably equipped for our short stay. We loved the character of the stone walls and flagstone floors. We didnt use the log burner as the central heating kept the property very warm. Our biggest issue was the old sofa in lounge. The sofa has zero support, no comfort and gave both of us back pain if we dared use it. Feedback on sofa was passed on but to add insult to our injuries, only some measly and ineffective cushions were provided. The unusable sofa meant we couldn't use the lounge as intended and this pretty much ruined ouRead morer holiday :( Despite being a 25-minute walk into town we found the location to be OK (as we are both keen hikers). Beautiful little rustic cottage with a fab log burner on the lounge to keep you really toasty in the cold evenings. Very characterful and charming and well located for easy access to Swanage and to the beautiful village of Corfe Castle.
