A holiday retreat perfect for a small family or two couples, this modern cottage has everything you need during your stay. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom property also welcomes canine companions. Situated on the outskirts of the popular coastal town, it is 1 mile from the seafront, with its Victorian pier and sandy beach. Also find yourselves in a great location for the town’s independent shops, galleries, eateries and station, with its steam trains running out to Castle Corfe during the high season. Pick up the South West Coast Path to enjoy long cliff-top walks, with magnificent views, and plan trips out to beauty spots such as the picturesque beach at the National Trust’s Studland Bay, 4 miles away.

Enter the cottage via its hallway and wander in to discover its immaculate accommodation. This includes the lounge, with its chic grey décor and comfortable seating for watching TV or a DVD, and the contemporary-style kitchen/diner. This has French windows on to the garden and plenty of space for sitting down to eat together, as well as for food storage and preparation. Also downstairs is a WC. The two bedrooms, a king-size with an en-suite shower room, and a twin, with an en-suite bathroom, are on the first floor of the cottage.

The garden at the cottage is fully enclosed, with a small patio area, for outside dining, and a lawn.

We thoroughly recommend Holly Blue. It was in a lovely quiet location (with a great chippie five minutes walk away!), five minute drive to the beach at Swanage, and the kitchen/diner was superb and so well equipped. Masses of crockery and cutlery which was very welcome. Beds very comfortable and really good to have an en-suite to each bedroom. The Read moreowners had left a lot of excellent information on the surrounding area, including plenty of information on dog walks! A real bonus was having your own parking space at the back of the property. We will hopefully be returning! Hide

The cottage was excellent with absolutely everything you could think of needing in the kitchen; it was a real home from home. Would definitely return again.

Great house, lovely and clean. Everything we needed was there, even for our dog. There was plenty of off-Road parking all the time as well as the allocated parking space. I would definitely use this house again, best house weve ever rented. We had an amazing time.

We have stayed at Holly Blue twice now and both times have had a lovely stay. I have several boxes that need ticks when I book a holiday. A King size bed, two bathrooms, a garden for our westie and parking on site. Holly Blue ticks all the boxes. It is great. Having The Black Swan pub down the road is an added bonus as they are very welcoming and dRead moreog friendly, they serve good food and beer. We would highly recommend Holly Blue. Hide

Absolutely spotless on arrival. We loved this cottage and would not hesitate to stay again. We immediately felt relaxed and at home. The property had been prepared with so much care and thoughtfulness. I loved the deep bath and slept like a log all week! We found the property very comfortable and met our needs very well. It was clean and well equipped and in a very quite location. The off road parking was a bonus. A pleasant location. A fish shop and a convenience store just down the road was useful.

The house and Swanage itself were perfect to be honest. Such a great holiday and the house was better than expected - clean and enjoyable to stay in. I can't think of anything negative to say. The house is located near ''priests way'' trail if you like to walk. The walks in Swanage are brilliant!
