This wonderful townhouse provides the perfect base for spending some time in Swanage, a fantastic family holiday destination with a Victorian pier, sandy beach and an abundance of coastal countryside within close reach. The property is located on an undisturbed private development just out of the town centre. Within half a mile you can find yourself at the beach, on the pier or on the pedestrianised promenade with mini golf and colourful beach huts. Around the town, you’ll find many more walking routes and stunning scenery that's simply waiting to be explored. You could visit Durlston Country Park Nature Reserve that’s just 1 mile away. Wander out to admire the coastal Durlston Castle (1 mile) and the Anvil Point Lighthouse (1.5 miles), or venture up to the beauty spot of Old Harry’s Rocks (4 miles) to admire the dramatic stretch of Jurassic Coast clifftops.

Switch on the coal effect gas fire to enjoy a cosy night in. At the top of the property sits a final bedroom, a handsomely presented double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Owing to its second-floor position, this bedroom enjoys sea views that are a joy to wake up to.

The Downs was in a lovely location, minutes from the beach and the town centre, with lots of scenic walks in the local area. The property was spotless and had everything we needed for a perfect stay.

Last minute booking for our family and the property was absolutely gorgeous! We loved the location, been going to Swanage for 20 years and this year was the best by far! We will be going back! Thank you for a lovely short break!

Excellent location, well equipped. Very comfortable, home from home. This was our third stay at 3, The Downs. We would highly recommend it as a holiday base for exploring Swanage and the local area.

Nice property and local easy walk down to sea but problem have to walk back deep hill to property from sea, should have put unsuitable for older people. But younger family holiday will be great.
