Within a mile of the picturesque Purbeck village of Corfe Castle, this relaxing property makes a lovely holiday getaway for a family or a couple exploring the Jurassic Coast and the unspoilt Dorset countryside. Offering ample space for up to four guests, this bright, spacious and colourful property is an idyllic base for keen walkers and cyclists, and is within easy reach of some stunning sandy beaches.

A few steps lead up to the house where you will find a delightful lounge/diner with wooden floor and feature fireplace. The lounge is a lovely spot for relaxation at the end of a great day – here you can sit back, catch up with a TV show or movie, read a book or chat into the night. A charming dining area is perfect for sharing a favourite family meal, opening into a light-filled sunroom with garden views. There's also a stylishly designed kitchen which is a pleasure to cook in. A short flight of stairs leads up to the first-floor bedrooms: a charming twin room with views towards the hills, and a stylish king-size room from which you may catch a glimpse of a distant steam train. The pretty back garden is enclosed and features a lawn and garden furniture, making it a lovely spot for children to play and for you to enjoy al fresco meals.

Corfe Castle is a picturesque village with a number of excellent pubs, restaurants and independent shops, all overlooked by the atmospheric ruins of the castle itself. Nearby beaches include Kimmeridge Bay (6.5 miles), Studland (9 miles) and Swanage (5 miles) – the latter which you can reach by steam train, and is home to a Victorian pier, traditional promenade and the Prince Albert Gardens. Other attractions include The Blue Pool, Dancing Ledge (both 4 miles) and Smedmore House (5.5 miles).

Lovely house, in a great location. Handy for the village and lovely dog walks on the common and up to the village. Bus stop nearby if you want a rest from driving. Great village shop.

A lovely home ,spotlessly clean & in a great location. We were glad that we could get on to the common easily with our dog as the main road into the village is dangerously fast & busy. Not as we remember it from some years ago,sadly. The beautiful sandy beaches are all within easy reach so we spent very little time driving which was lovely & WarehaRead morem was handy for everything including the most delicious fish & chips. Delightful and comfortable holiday home in excellent situation. 4 days we didn't use the car but walked around Corfe and surrounding fields. Took the train to Swanage, journey great Swanage not so great. Corfe Castle & village (and model village & gardens) beautiful and so historic.

Cherry Blossom House is cosy, comfortable and very well equipped - we felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. The conservatory is a real bonus as it's a light and bright place to sit even on a wet dreary day! We were lucky though, we had mostly wonderful sunny days and the location of the house is great for visiting all our favourite places. The cottage was in a lovely location, down an unmade road just off the main road so a very comfortable 10 minute walk into the centre of Corfe. The cottage itself was comfortable, warm and inviting. There was everything you needed for a great stay. The weather was not warm enough to sit out in the actual garden but we sat in the sun lounge most dayRead mores watching the birds come and go. A visit to The Banke's Arms Hotel for a meal is a must we went twice and could not fault the food on either occasion Hide

The house was lovely - cozy, comfortable, bright and well equipped. Corfe is a great place to stay with so many places of interest near by. We were lucky with the weather considering it was early February! We enjoyed sunny walks on Studland Beach, Arne Nature Reserve and Wareham Forest and cozy meals in Swanage on wetter days. Really loved our stay in Cherry Blossom House felt comfortable straight away ,great nights sleep, well equipped kitchen .Great location, Corfe Common only a few hundred yards away or should that be metres? . This was our first visit lovely house, very spacious with a good sized enclosed garden which was great for our dog. comfortable and relaxing in a great area - 15 minute walk to the village shops, pubs and Corfe Castle. Very well equipped clean property. Totally private enclosed back garden (perfect for our pooch). Comfortable lounge and dining area, and a large modern kitchen with all the ''mod cons''. A comfy large bed in the master bedroom, with twin beds in the second bedroom. It's a 15 minute walk into Corfe Castle but perfect for walking the dog across the CRead moreommon in the morning when going to the bakery in the village. Very comfortable house with plenty of room. Would not describe as a cottage as this is a modern split level home like a bungalow with the 2 bedrooms and bathroom up a very short stairs. The driveway was a little restrictive for larger cars as there was a brick wall on one side that you had to be careful of when reversing out. The road to the accommRead moreodation is unmade gravel. We had a fabulous week away. The location is perfect. Its a flat 15 min (ish) walk into the centre of Corfe. We couldnt do the cut through across fields and its wasnt pram friendly but this didnt bother us. The house had everything we needed. Several really nice pubs serving food plus shop (closes 6pm) and bakery in the village. Great transport links by bus/train to Swanage and Wareham. Well equipped clean property in a fantastic location within walking distance of local pubs and amenities. Dog friendly secure garden which would be a real bonus in the summer months, sadly due to the weather we were unable to use it. A great base for exploring the Dorset coastline Studland, Swanage etc.
