With spectacular views of Freshwater Bay, this bright and spacious first floor apartment offers beautiful accommodation for six guests, making this a wonderful holiday home for a family or group of friends. With the beach just a few metres away, this is a fantastic base for activities including kayaking and surfing. There are miles of walks and bike trails to follow along the cliffs and coastline – you can even explore the old smugglers’ caves with the help of a local guide. This is an ideal retreat for exploring the northern and western parts of this stunning island.

First entering the ground floor entrance porch and then heading up the stairs you will step into this remarkable apartment you will find the spacious and attractive open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Tastefully and imaginatively furnished, the inviting lounge offers a lovely space for relaxing in at the end of the day, with plenty of rich, soft furnishings, 65 inch Smart TV and beautiful views. The elegantly designed kitchen is perfect for preparing your favourite meal, which you can enjoy in the attractive dining area which is open plan making it a great sociable place. At the end of the day you can head down the hall where there are three cosy and stylishly furnished bedrooms: two doubles, one with sea views, one with an en-suite shower room and both with smart TV's, and a twin room with sea views. The garden features a lawn area and a variety of decked seating areas complete with outdoor living space. The garden is the ideal spot to watch the sun rise and sun set.

Known for its links with the poet Tennyson, the picturesque village of Freshwater is perfect for exploring this part of the island. The village has plenty of great places to eat and drink as well as attractions including the Dimbola Museum and the Freshwater Bay Golf Club (both within 0.5 miles). Other attractions include Tapnell Farm Park (2.5 miles), the popular town of Yarmouth (3.5 miles) and Mottistone Gardens and Estate (4.5 miles). Walkers can explore Headon Warren (3 miles), Tennyson Down (2 miles) and the Needles (3.5 miles).

Lovely spacious, well appointed flat. Beautifully decorated. Great location, with 2 min walk to beach. Ideal location for exploring wonderful West Wight.

Apartment was lovely and clean and spacious. Very well equipped and a great location. The outdoor space however was a disappointment. Dirty furniture and bbq area which didnt look like it had been cleaned in quite a while.

Superb accommodation, spotlessly clean and very well appointed make this the Ideal place to stay in Freshwater. The welcoming card and drinks with treats hamper were also a delight. Not something you get in many places. The house had a strong WiFi signal and a nice TV which made everything perfect in this lovely house. We stayed at Ocean View for a week from 29th August. Absolutely fab apartment in an idyllic location. Spacious, well equipped, comfortable and immaculate. Very close to the beach and local facilities. Even though the weather wasnt wonderful, to have the apartment to come back to with home comforts was very welcome and relaxing. Loved it, will come Read moreback and have recommended to friends. Super welcome pack was such a nice touch. Hide

We had a lovely family holiday here. The location is amazing - we could walk to the beach, hire paddle boards and a couple of places to get a drink. Would love to go back.

Just finished a fantastic week-long stay at Freshwater Bay and couldnt recommend this property enough. A stones throw from the beach, which was quiet and with great cliffside walks. Very clean, well furnished and equipped. Pictures dont do it justice, it is very spacious and airy.

It was our first time at this property and we weren't disappointed. What a fantastic apartment! It was everything that was promised and more. It was in a great location at Freshwater Bay for exploring the West of the Isle of Wight and also for getting over to the South and East of the Isle. There was parking set aside for 2 vehicles which was good Read moreif you are 2 couples. It was our 11th trip to the Isle and we would certainly look to book this again when we return in the next couple of years. Hide

A lovely apartment which was well equipped and very comfortable. A disappointing outside area which was not very welcoming because it needed a good clean. Unfortunately during our week's holiday there were barking dogs very close to the apartment, which were very disturbing. We had a brilliant week, the appartment is very comfortable and exceeded expectations. It is much more spacious than it appears online. The location is brilliant too and we enjoyed a fab walk from Freshwater Bay to the Needles and back. We were a family of 6 and we felt very relaxed and happy in the appartment.

First impressions, wow! Lovely spacious property, amazing view (that isn't photoshopped!), ideal location for us, and really good appliciances! We really liked that the property had its own parking as this gave us reassurance that our car would be safe and off the road. Nice garden available for use if we wanted to use it. Ocean view is an exceptionally nice apartment, very comfortably furnished and equipped to a high standard. It has lovely views across to the sea and a private garden. The hosts were very welcoming and it was a perfect home from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would happily stay there again.

Fantastic location short walk to beach. The apartment was amazing and garden lovely, well thought out furnishing and equipment to really make our stay enjoyable. Friendly hotel and cafe in freshwater bay made us very welcome.
