With spectacular views of Freshwater Bay, this bright and spacious first floor apartment offers beautiful accommodation for six guests, making this a wonderful holiday home for a family or group of friends. With the beach just a few metres away, this is a fantastic base for activities including kayaking and surfing. There are miles of walks and bike trails to follow along the cliffs and coastline – you can even explore the old smugglers’ caves with the help of a local guide. This is an ideal retreat for exploring the northern and western parts of this stunning island.

First entering the ground floor entrance porch and then heading up the stairs you will step into this remarkable apartment you will find the spacious and attractive open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Tastefully and imaginatively furnished, the inviting lounge offers a lovely space for relaxing in at the end of the day, with plenty of rich, soft furnishings, 65 inch Smart TV and beautiful views. The elegantly designed kitchen is perfect for preparing your favourite meal, which you can enjoy in the attractive dining area which is open plan making it a great sociable place. At the end of the day you can head down the hall where there are three cosy and stylishly furnished bedrooms: two doubles, one with sea views, one with an en-suite shower room and both with smart TV's, and a twin room with sea views. The garden features a lawn area and a variety of decked seating areas complete with outdoor living space and a grill. The garden is the ideal spot to watch the sun rise and sun set.

Known for its links with the poet Tennyson, the picturesque village of Freshwater is perfect for exploring this part of the island. The village has plenty of great places to eat and drink as well as attractions including the Dimbola Museum and the Freshwater Bay Golf Club (both within 0.5 miles). Other attractions include Tapnell Farm Park (2.5 miles), the popular town of Yarmouth (3.5 miles) and Mottistone Gardens and Estate (4.5 miles). Walkers can explore Headon Warren (3 miles), Tennyson Down (2 miles) and the Needles (3.5 miles).

Fantastic location and accommodation has everything you need to get started, could not have wished for more. The local shops have great choices and everything you need. This is the best place we have stayed at especially with teenage children, they loved the accommodation and location!

We have been absolutely thrilled by our stay here. The cottage is beautiful and in a perfect location and it is fully kitted out with everything visitors may need. We loved the double decker bar bus & the pizza van on the seafront across the road. The local shop is ideal and the nearby Piano Cafe - both are great amenities to have so nearby. Loved the apartment and was very spacious and had all the little bits and pieces you're never sure if you need to bring or not i.e. bin bags, washing up liquid, cloths, dishwasher and washing tablets etc Welcome basket was very appreciated by all!

Great apartment...nicely decorated and spacious. Views of sea from lounge and 2 bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen though no washing up liquid or spare toilet rolls . Nothing much in freshwater Bay but tescos 3min drive/25 min walk was very handy. Can recommend driving the coastal path back into freshwater Bay!

Very good with all necessary appointments, requisites, fixtures and fittings. Good general living area. mattresses in bedrooms poor unless youre used to camping then theyre fantastic! Quiet location, wonderful countryside for walking and wild life. Good sea swimming especially from side beach area where it is more controlled. Great location. Comfortable , well equipped apartment but not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as access is via numerous stairs. Bathrooms also have steps .

We had a lovely stay at Ocean View which is a beautiful, well equipped apartment with superb sea views set in a lovely location. The apartment was exceptionally clean, very tastefully decorated, extremely comfortable and very well equipped. The garden was well maintained and had plenty of seating. This is a beautiful, comfortable and well-equipped flat overlooking Freshwater Bay, set back from the bay so nice and quiet, but with the view of the bay. I loved waking up each morning and looking out to see what the ocean looked like that day, depending upon the weather, etc.. We found our stay at Ocean View perfect for our extended family. It is very roomy and well equipped. The owners have thought of everything to make a perfect stay, including beach chairs, picnic crockery and even umbrellas! A generous welcome pack was really appreciated. We would recommend this accommodation without hesitation.

A well situated three bedroom apartment, with an amazing view from nearly every window. A beach on your doorstep, easy access to all the other attractions on the island. We hope to go back soon.

Fantastic property, home from home, very comfortable and well equipped, lots of lovely little touches, garden is a big bonus too for the evening, welcome basket on arrival too. Perfect base for exploring the island. Not much at Freshwater Bay so make sure to pop in the supermarket in Freshwater for supplies.

Excellent apartment, spotlessly clean, very well equipped and decorated, and comfortable. The location is super, there was even a !SELECTED!p!ENDOFSELECTED!ub in an old double decker bus for an evening beer and chat in the sunshine by the beach. Easy access to all the nice places on the island. Great holiday.

Spacious, well equipped property a very short distance from the sea front - lounge/diner overlooking the bay is a particular highlight. The welcome basket of goodies was a nice touch and indicative of the genuine wish of the owners that their guests really enjoy their stay. I will enthusiastically recommend this property to friends and family.

A lovely apartment in a brilliant, quiet location. Wonderful sea views from the lounge and two of the bedrooms. It is a great base for walking and exploring the wonderful coastline of IOW. We have been visiting the Island since our two children were very young, but at 18 and 20 they still wanted to come with us, and loved the apartment.
