This superb wing of an impressive Regency manor house is approached by a sweeping drive. The house is set amidst beautiful gardens and surrounded by rolling countryside. It is a marvellous walking and cycling area with almost immediate access to the renowned Stenbury Trail, Yar River Trail and Isle of Wight Sunshine Trail Cycle route. It is a pleasant ten minute stroll to Appuldurcombe House or to the centre of Godshill with its picturesque thatched cottages, church, tea shops, and public houses and pub/restaurant for meals or drinks. The sandy beaches of Shanklin, Sandown and Ventnor are within a 15 minute drive and Godshill makes for a wonderful central base to explore all that the Isle of Wight has to offer. If golf is more your cup of tea, Ventnor Golf Course is worth a visit with its panoramic views over the countryside and English Channel.

Godshill Park House Wing provides stylish self-contained accommodations of a high standard which is all on one level once inside. There are one and a half steps which lead into a charming sitting room with deep carpets, cushions and sofas, plus a flat screen television with Freeview and DVD player; a dining area in an impressive bay window overlooking the garden; a galley style fitted kitchen with oak worktops, blue and white tiles, a stainless steel sink, electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, Dualit toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and a washer dryer; a well equipped bathroom with a bath, overhead shower, basin and WC; a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, Egyptian cotton sheets, beautiful curtains and a wardrobe. An additional single bed can be made available to this room. Electric heating and WiFi internet are provided without extra charge. A radio and CD player are available, as well as books and games.

The Wing has a private secluded terrace with garden furniture, and visitors are also welcome to use the large lawns at the front of the house. A car can be parked close to the wing or in the small garage. The garage can alternatively be used for the storage of bicycles, small dinghies and beach equipment. There is a regular bus service to Shanklin/Newport with interconnections to most parts of the Isle of Wight within a five minute walk.

Lovely accommodation, fabulous location, surrounded by farmland and wildlife. Comfy, well equipped, large garden area for exclusive use. Owners couldn't be more welcoming and helpful.

This is a beautiful and spacious flat in a lovely peaceful location with views over the extensive gardens. The owners were very welcoming and we appreciated the little touches like fresh flowers on the table and milk, eggs and teacakes in the kitchen. Everything was clean and well-kept, and we were very comfortable for our few days' stay. Very happy week in a lovely old house in splendid grounds on the IoW. Kitchen and bathroom are small but perfectly functional, with very spacious and comfortable lounge and bedroom. This is a really relaxing place to be. Fabulous local walks, wonderful local views and a great pub and farm shop nearby. Also the rest of The Island is within easy reach with plenty to see and do. We had a lovely holiday here.

This is a beautiful property that was clean and comfortable. It is ideally situated a few minutes away from Godshill village but it felt as if we were in the middle of nowhere. It was so calm and peaceful, ideal for a complete relaxing holiday. We will definitely return

Godshill Park House Wing is absolutely perfect for couples or small families. The accommodation is light, airy, beautifully decorated and very well-equipped with everything you could need. The gardens are lovely as is the surrounding countryside. Ann, the host, is very friendly and easy-going. We will have no hesitation in booking a return visit.

The cottage was beautifully placed for so many trips out. A lovely, relaxing feel to the cottage - well-furnished and pleasantly cool in the hot weather. It was fab to have breakfast and afternoon tea on the lawn and Ann and David, who had left a much appreciated welcome pack of information and milk/bread, had left some great recommendations for loRead morecal eating, all of which we would heartily recommend!
