Milton Stables is situated on the south west side of the Isle of Wight within a 5 minute walk of Freshwater Bay, Tennyson Down and the coastal path which is particularly dramatic on its route westwards to The Needles. It is a detached property which has been converted from original stables - renovated with care to provide spacious, light and comfortable accommodation for 4 people with a large plan open plan living room with doors opening onto the courtyard garden; a fitted kitchen, and wet room. There is a ground floor twin room and upstairs there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a small sitting room. The cottage has an enclosed courtyard which is fenced and gated.

Lovely detached bungalow within a 3 minute walk of the beach at Colwell Bay on the west side of the Isle of Wight. Delightful walking area close to the coastal path linking to nearby Alum Bay, The Needles and Tennyson Down. Restaurant and bar overlooking the sea within a short stroll. The property has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard. It offers very attractive and comfortable accommodation which is all on one level apart from one internal step. Fenced and gated garden with parking for 2/3 cars in the drive. Large raised garden area with outside furniture so that meals can be enjoyed in the sunshine.

Apple House is situated on the west side of the island, within a 10 minute walk of the beach at Colwell Bay. Here swimming, paddling, fishing and boating can be enjoyed. Totland Bay is also within easy walking distance. The coastal path from this area can be followed westward to Alum Bay, Tennyson Down and The Needles - a wonderful walking area with panoramic sea views. The centre of Freshwater is also within a 10 minute walk.

Lovely stone cottage within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and only a 15 minute walk from the beach at Brook on the West Coast of the Isle of Wight. This is a wonderful walking and cycling area and there are spectacular views of the sea and the white cliffs of Tennyson Down from the farm.
Tennyson Wing is beautifully situated in a lovely rural location above Alum Bay and enjoys panoramic views of nearby downs and across fields to the sea. It is in ‘An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ - a wonderful walking area within a two minute walk of Tennyson Down and the footpath leads directly to the coastal path. Wonderful walks then extend eastward past Tennyson’s monument to Freshwater Bay, Brook, Brighstone and Niton or westwards to The Needles and Alum Bay. The beach at Alum Bay is within a 25 minute walk – this is renowned for its coloured sands and boat trips can be enjoyed to The Needles. The sandy coves of Totland and Colwell Bay are within a 5 minute drive and here swimming, paddling and fishing can be enjoyed. The small town of Freshwater is also nearby and this has a variety of small shops, public houses, a sports centre with swimming pool and a good golf course. The attractive port and sailing centre of Yarmouth is within a 10 minute drive. Here there are some excellent restaurants, boutique style shops and boat trips along the river or to the mainland.

Tennyson Wing has a beautiful terrace with attractive ironwork, garden furniture and parasol. Visitors can also access a lovely area of garden to the rear of Alum Bay House where there is shared use of a large lawn where one can relax and children can play games. There are wonderful views across surrounding fields to the downs, and to the western reaches of the Solent with the Hampshire coastline in the distance. Parking is available for two cars to the side of the property. Regular bus service with 5 minutes walk; Public house ¾ mile.
Tennyson Wing is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at Tennyson Wing. Tennyson Wing is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Saturday to Saturday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 14:30 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Short break weekend and midweek self catering holidays are available from and 28th October 2017 to 18th December 2017.

The small town of Freshwater is located on the West of the Isle of Wight. The town has an inland part with shops and a seaside part called Freshwater Bay. The bay at Freshwater is known for its stunning beauty and because it makes a pleasant place to enjoy the sea and have a swim.
Freshwater has excellent access to the other coastal location on the West of the Isle of Wight and walks run along the coast in both directions. A walk to The Needles at Alum Bay is a pleasant way to see the dramatic coast. It is also possible to walk to Carisbrooke at the heart of the Island along the Tennyson Downs.
Red Lion Public House, Freshwater - The Red Lion is a traditional public house serving great food using local produce and local caught seafood. A traditional pub feel with a friendly atmosphere makes it a very enjoyable place to enjoy lunch or stop off at on a walk around the Western side of the Isle of Wight. The West of the Isle of Wight is best known for its unspoilt nature and dramatic coastline. The areas is far less commercialised and the many of the beaches can be enjoyed almost to ones self. West Isle of Wight beaches include Totland Bay, Freshwater Bay, Compton Beach, Brook Beach and Bembridge Beach.

Two dogs are welcome by agreement. Please do not allow pets on the furniture or in the bedrooms. We also ask owners not to leave dogs on their own in the property and not to allow them to foul the garden. Puppies under 12 months and also dogs with incontinence problems are not permitted without specific agreement. Please ensure that your pets treatment for the prevention of fleas is up to date. Kindly bring your own dog basket. Cats accepted by agreement.

Tennyson Wing is a two-bedroomed flat situated on the first floor of a large detached property. Tennyson Wing is located within a rural area above Alum Bay, with access to many footpaths and walks nearby. It is accessed along an unmade-up single track lane with a gravel drive. Whilst the property is not suitable for wheelchair users, it is suitable for anyone able to climb a flight of stairs.

Tennyson Wing is situated in a peaceful rural location, with sea views and within excellent walking country. The centre of the town of Freshwater is around 10 minutes drive away. Freshwater has a post office, two supermarkets, a leisure centre with an indoor swimming pool, pubs, cafes, restaurants and many small local shops.

Tennyson Wing is situated along an unmade up single track lane around 3.5m wide, gently sloping downwards. The property is situated in a very quiet rural location.
There is parking for two cars on a gravel area to the side of the property. The gravel surface is level and flat.
Entrance to Property
There is one main entrance to the property. The main entrance is accessed by 3 stone steps up to the main entrance door. Once within the main house there is a staircase 920mm wide with 14 stairs up to the first floor.
The floor covering inside the entrance is loop pile fitted carpet (sisal type). Once inside the flat there are minimal thresholds.

Halls, Stairs, Landings, Passageways
The entrance corridor to the flat has loop pile fitted carpet (sisal type). There is a small threshold/step (<100mm high) within the corridor.
Sitting Room/Dining Area
The sitting room/ dining area is L-shaped. The sitting room area is furnished with one large 3-seater sofa (2000mm long and 450mm high) and two easy chairs. There is a
wall-mounted flat screen TV and DVD player with remote control, Freeview and WiFi. There are French doors leading out onto a large balcony area. There is a large step up (250mm high) onto the decked balcony (see below).
The dining area is equipped with 4 wooden chairs and a wooden bench (with a back) and wooden table.
Flooring is loop pile fitted carpet (sisal type).
The kitchen contains a range of units and equipment. The worktops are 940mm high (with no clearance underneath to the sink or worktops). There is a front opening cooker, a dishwasher, microwave, a large upright fridge-freezer (fridge above) and washing machine/tumble dryer.
Flooring is vinyl.
There are two bedrooms within the flat.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed with around 500mm and 1m space respectively to either side of the bed. There is no under-bed space. Furniture in this room includes two bedside cabinets 650mm high. Flooring is loop pile fitted carpet (sisal type). This room has an en-suite shower- room attached (see below).
Bedroom 2 (twin bedroom) has two twin beds, with 1m space between the beds. The beds are moveable, with no under-bed space. Furniture in this room includes a chest
of drawers, a dressing table and a wooden chair. Flooring is loop pile fitted carpet (sisal type).
There are French doors from this room up one step onto the balcony area.
Bathrooms, Shower-rooms and Toilets
There is one main bathroom. Flooring is vinyl. There is a bath 550mm high with grab rails, an overhead shower, a wash hand basin and a toilet. The toilet is 420mm high, but has no space either side for lateral wheelchair transfer.
There is an en-suite shower room to Bedroom 1. The shower has a 260mm step up, and the shower itself is 600mm x 750mm, with a 600mm opening door. This room also has a toilet and wash hand basin. There is no space for lateral wheelchair transfer. Flooring is vinyl.
There is a large wooden decked balcony area, accessed from both the Sitting Room and Bedroom 2, through double French doors. There is a table and chairs, as well as a barbecue for guests to use.
Grounds and Gardens
Guests are able to use a shared area of garden to the side of the property, which is a large lawned area.
