This lovely stone cottage occupies an attractive position in a quiet country lane, on the outskirts of Godshill. It has been converted from the original milking parlour of Lower Yard Farm and the building is thought to date back to the 1700 ‘s. A small riding stables is within a few minutes walk and most of the surrounding fields are home to horses. The centre of the picturesque village of Godshill, with its pretty thatched cottages, restaurants and tea shops is only 3/4 mile away.

Baltija is beautifully situated in the wonderful semi rural coastal area of St Lawrence on the south of the Island. St Lawrence is renowned for it mild climate and is an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. Lanes and footpaths can be followed directly from the property to the sea at Woody Bay which is a ten to fifteen minute walk away.

Woodland Court is a beautiful seaside holiday cottage at St Lawrence near Ventnor on the South East of the Isle of Wight. It is within a 5 minute walk of the beach at Steephill Cove and only 2 minutes from the coastal path which extends eastwards to the lovely seaside resort of Ventnor and onwards to Bonchurch and Shanklin. The property enjoys glimpses of the sea and is in a very attractive location with a large garden. Furnished and equipped to a high standard.

This lovely stone cottage was originally a large and ancient stone barn at Sainham Farm. It is situated in the attractive courtyard and has marvellous open views from the rear across the fields to the downs. Stag Cottage is in one of the loveliest parts of the Island lying at the foot of Appuldurcome Down and above the picturesque village of Godshill in ‘An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. Godshill can be reached by taking a pleasant stroll through the beech copse and across the fields. The village has a variety of tea shops and restaurants as well as two public houses.

Shiloh is a Grade II listed barn which has been converted into a lovely 2 bedroom, single storey, cottage. It is situated in delightful countryside between the villages of Godshill and Whitwell and is only a 5 minute drive from the coast. The seaside resort of Ventnor is 5 km away and the sandy beaches of Shankllin and Ventnor are within a 10 to 15 minute drive. This is a wonderful walking and cycling area with direct access to a network of footpaths including a wonderful walk along the River Yar which extends from its source in Niton on the south coast to Bembridge, with its beautiful wetland area in the east. The cottage has a secure fenced garden and is well equipped.

Puckaster Cottage is a lovely cottage in an attractive courtyard within the grounds of Puckaster House . The main house is surrounded by six acres of garden with lovely lawns going down towards the sea. There are sea glimpses from some of the upper rooms of the cottage and open sea views from the larger gardens. The sea is within a 15 minute walk and there is easy access to the wonderful coastal path which extends from the village of Niton to The Needles on the western tip of the Isle of Wight. The small resort of Ventnor is within a 15 minute drive and there is easy access to a number of small quiet bays on the south west side of the Island.

Hadfield Cottage is situated in the picturesque coastal village of Bonchurch and is less than 3 minutes walk from the sea. Bonchurch has an air of tranquillity with its lovely village pond, traditional style cottages and 11th century church. Restaurants and a public house are within easy walking distance. There is also a pleasant coastal walk to the nearby seaside resort of Ventnor.

This ‘picture postcard’ stone cottage is beautifully situated in the quiet coastal hamlet of Niton Undercliff. This is ‘An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ on the southern tip of the Isle of Wight. There are glimpses of the nearby sea from the upper windows and a short walk leads to St Catherine’s lighthouse and the beach at Castlehaven. This is a wonderful walking area, with one of the most beautiful parts of the coastal path extending from close to the cottage to The Needles, on the western tip of the Isle of Wight. The Buddle Inn - one of the oldest public houses on the island, is less than a 5 minute walk away and a 10 minute walk takes you into the village of Niton where there is a well stocked general stores, chemist, post office with lovely garden tea room, a public house and two gift shops. There is easy access to the many small quiet sandy coves on the west side of the Island. The larger sandy beaches of the resorts of Ventnor and Shanklin are 10 to 15 minute drive.
Rock Cottage is a delightful detached Grade II listed property with stone walls, pretty windows and roses around the door. It has been skillfully renovated with the greatest care to provide very attractive accommodation, of the highest standard, with the feel of a real home. The cottage has underfloor heating and there is a wonderful combination of tiled floors and original wooden floors adorned with rugs. It has been furnished in a traditional style with the tasteful use of rich coordinated fabrics, deep sofas and comfortable beds. On the ground floor there is a well equipped fitted kitchen with handmade wooden units and granite work tops, a double ‘belfast’ style sink, a range electric cooker, microwave, large American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer-dryer and french doors to the terrace; an open archway gives direct access to an open plan dining area overlooking the garden and a sitting area with sofa, arm chairs, wood burning stove, television/DVD. There is a separate sitting room with two sofas, an armchair, wood burning stove, and television/Freeview/DVD; a lovely tiled hallway with doorways to the front and rear of the cottage; a spacious shower room with a walk in shower, basin and w.c. Stairs lead up to three very charming bedrooms - a master suite with a ‘king size’ bed and an area to relax with a sofa beside one of the original feature fireplaces of the cottage. This is a lovely light room with two windows looking across the garden and the sea can be seen in the distance with the occasional boat passing by. There is a second beautiful bedroom with a ‘superking’ zip and link bed which can be separated to provide twin beds. This room also enjoys glimpses of the sea. In addition there is a delightful twin bedroom and a family bathroom with a roll top bath, basin and w.c. A travel cot/high chair and stair gate can be provided if required. Central heating, logs and electricity without extra charge. Wifi Internet available.
Rock Cottage has a south facing garden with trees, shrubs and colourful well stocked borders. It is a secluded fenced and gated garden providing an oasis for peaceful relaxation. It includes a stone terrace with garden furniture and a well equipped barbecue area with a table and chairs for ‘alfesco’ dining. Three steps lead down to a large lawn, at the far end of which is a children’s playhouse. Red squirrels and a variety of birds are frequent visitors to the garden. One car can be parked on hard standing within the garden and additional cars can be parked in a grassed area just to the side of the cottage garden.
Rock Cottage is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at Rock Cottage. Rock Cottage is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Friday to Friday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 16:00 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Short break weekend and midweek self catering holidays are available from and 27th October 2017 to 17th December 2017.

Niton is a small village with a traditional community feel. The local shop, cafe and butcher are all going strong supported by local people committed to keeping them. A village pub offers food and is a good place to meet your neighbours.
Niton Undercliff, which is the area closer to the coast and within a short walk of Niton, enjoys spectacular and panoramic views of the sea. This vantage point made it an ideal location for St Catherine's Light House which is located here. Nition Undercliff has an exellent public house and is a peaceful location without passing traffic.
Buddle Inn, Niton Undercliff - A traditional public house with lovely location overlooking the sea at Niton Undercliff. Niton Undercliff is signposted from the road between Niton and Ventnor. The South of the Isle of Wight is a wonderful mix of pretty beaches and dramatic coastal landscape. The sand and shingle beach at Ventnor is one of the more popular holiday locations but hidden gems such as Bonchurch and Steephill Cove are really worth a visit too.
The coastal path around the South Coast of the Isle of Wight is a particularly beautiful stretch to explore and passes a number of attractive sites which include Steephill Cove, Orchard Bay and St Catherine's Light House at Niton Undercliff. Some of this area has been prone to erosion so you must stick to the footpath and take heed of diversions.
