This wonderful detached property stands in a superb position beside the sea, close to the centre of Cowes. It enjoys panoramic sea views from almost every room. This farmhouse is attractively situated on the edge of the pretty village of Shalfleet towards the West side of the Isle of Wight. The cottage adjoins the grounds of Shalfleet Manor House and has its own private entrance into a quiet lane which leads from the village to a footpath on Newtown Creek. This estuary, which is only a few minutes walk from the farmhouse, is part of a National Nature Reserve and is in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Several secluded bays and beaches are within 10 minutes drive.

High Rising is situated within a few minutes walk of the sea at Gurnard. Here there is a quiet beach where visitors can enjoy paddling swimming and boating. A pleasant café and nearby public house provide refreshments. There is easy access to the west side of the Island with its quiet sandy coves and the nearby National Nature reserve of Newtown – an area of outstanding Natural Beauty and a wonderful area for walking and bird watching.

Bay View is beautifully situated beside the beach with panoramic sea views from most of the main rooms. It is in a peaceful location with the beach of Seagrove Bay only half a minute's walk away. Here swimming, paddling and boating can be enjoyed. There is also a footpath directly from the house to the beautiful sandy Priory Bay - a 5 minute walk away. The atmospheric village centre of Seaview, with its small shops, sailing club and restaurants is within a 7 minute stroll.

This wonderful property is situated on a lovely farm in beautiful countryside. It has recently been converted from a large old granary, the foundations of which date back to the 1700s. A fire in 1889 resulted in much of it being rebuilt. Redway Manor Granary has been renovated with the greatest care and wherever possible original features have been retained. There are beautiful views across the fields and nearby lakes to the downs. The sandy beaches of Sandown and Shanklin are within a 15 minute drive.

This lovely stone cottage is situated in the small rural hamlet of Bowcombe which stands between the pretty village of Shorwell and Carisbrooke with its medieval castle. Shorwell and Carisbrooke are both within a 5 minute drive and have public houses which are good for meals. The cottage offers easy access to the small bays and coves on the south west side of the Isle of Wight. Brighstone beach is within a 10 minute drive and the larger sandy beaches of Ventnor and Shanklin are within a 20 minute drive.

This delightful stone cottage is situated in the centre of the picturesque village of Godshill, on the East side of the Isle of Wight, within a 10 minute drive of the sandy beaches of Shanklin, Sandown and Ventnor. This is also a delightful walking area with various footpaths and trails close to Christmas Cottage. The cottage has been furnished and equipped with great sensitivity to provide delightful accommodation.There are furnishings and artefacts from around the world combined with a wonderful use of colour. Spring Cottage stands in an idyllic location, within a 2 minute walk of the beach in the pretty seaside village of Bonchurch on the south east coast of the Island. The cottage enjoys beautiful sea views from most rooms and from its enchanting garden. Bonchurch is a peaceful village with a small shop, public house, good restaurant and two ancient churches plus a pretty pond which is home to carp, ducks and a variety of birds.

This delightful stone cottage which dates back to 1761 is built of Isle of Wight chalk and brick. It is situated in lovely countryside on an attractive farm at Merstone. The picturesque village of Godshill is nearby and the sandy beaches of Sandown and Shanklin are within a 15 minute drive.
This delightful detached New England style house is within a 7 minute walk of two lovely beaches - the quiet sandy Priory Bay Beach and Seagrove Bay with its variety of sand, rock pools and boating. This is a beautiful coastal area and the nearby coastpath can be followed to St Helens and onwards to Bembridge. Alternatively visitors can walk along the seafront of Seaview into Ryde – a seaside resort with a variety of traditional seaside entertainments plus swimming pool, ice rink and bowling alley. The Priory Bay Hotel with its excellent restaurant and cream teas is within a 5 minute walk and the shops and restaurants at the centre of Seaview village are within a 20 minute walk.
Iona is situated in a lane on the outskirts of Seaview. In recent years it has been architecturally redesigned to provide superb spacious accommodation for 8 people in a light and modern environment. It is centrally heated and double glazed. On the ground floor there is an attractive entrance hall which opens into a large open plan sitting room with leather sofas, a wall mounted television with Freeview; a separate lovely fitted kitchen with electric cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and breakfast bar; a delightful dining area, with a large table and chairs, with patio doors opening on to the terrace; a second charming sitting room area with a corner sofa, television/Freeview/DVD; a double bedroom with French doors opening into the garden and an en-suite shower room with built in shower, basin and wc; a separate cloakroom with w.c. with basin
A beautiful American Oak staircase winds up from the sitting room to three more spacious bedrooms – one twin room; a charming double room and the master bedroom with a ‘king size’ bed, television and en-suite shower room with built in shower, basin and w.c., a dressing area and small mezzanine with desk and Hifi system. There is also a superb tiled family bathroom with a corner bath, built in shower, basin and w.c. A folding bed can be made available in one of the double bedrooms so that two children can sleep separately; travel cot/high chair can also be provided. Wifi internet available.
There is a lovely fenced and gated garden at the rear of Iona. Immediately adjacent to the house is a terrace with garden furniture and a gas barbecue so that meals can be enjoyed in the sunshine. Five steps ascend to a large lawn with additional garden furniture. (Please be aware that there is a 3 ft drop between the lawn and the terrace. Children do therefore need to be closely supervised at all times). At the front of the property there is a large drive and area of garden. Here 4 cars can be accommodated. Covered storage for bikes. Bus service, public house and small general stores within 5 minutes walk. Large supermarket and shopping centre in Ryde - 10 minutes drive. Nearby places to visit include Seaview Wildlife Encounter, Havenstreet Street Steam Railway; Robin Hill Adventure Park and Osborne House - the island home of Queen Victoria.
Iona Cottage has ground floor accommodation and is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at Iona Cottage. Iona Cottage is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Saturday to Saturday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 15:00 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Short break weekend and midweek self catering holidays are available from 18th February 2017 to 30th March 2017 and 28th October 2017 to 17th December 2017.

One dog welcome by agreement and the back garden is walled and gated. Pets are not permitted upstairs, on the furniture or in the bedrooms. We also ask owners not to leave dogs on their own in the cottage and not to allow them to foul the garden. Puppies and also dogs with incontinence problems are not permitted without specific agreement. Please ensure that your pet's treatment for the prevention of fleas is up to date.
